This song just hits anyone really hard. His lyrics are directed towards the younger groups in their agency - they attended one of the last few days of Yoongi's D-Day Tour. BTS didn't have a guide/mentor when they started taking off really well internationally and they had to figure things out on their own. Yoongi made this song as reassurance to the younger idols that he would be there to help them however he could. He knows the importance of dreaming and having someone support you all through the hardships that may come. Unfortunately, Ryuichi Sakamoto passed on days before this song was performed during the D-Day tour. :( Fair disclaimer if you one day decide to watch the live version of this song, and you chance upon the rendition he did on the D-Day: The Final, on its actual final day, Yoongi was sent bawling his eyes and heart out on it. It was gut-wrenching, to say the least. He just completely lost it and cried so much on another song, "Dear My Friend", which recounts his experiences with a friend he had when he was younger. (all that to say that I hope you are in a good enough headspace before diving into those two songs during that last tour day because they really are hard-hitting).

If I might add - I feel like Yoongi finally letting all his tears out was due to a combination of many things - being overwhelmed by the message of the song, recalling how that meant to him and how he now sings those to younger idols, how he remembers the hardships he and the rest of BTS have to muscle through over the years, remembering his idol Ryuichi Sakamoto who passed on before he could hear this song played live during the tour, the bittersweet feeling of accomplishment that he held his first solo tour successfully and how it was coming to an end... and that one by one, they were doing their duties to their country and would be away from ARMY and performing in general for approximately 2 years... and probably even, that the following song Dear My Friend is very personal to him that he told ARMYS that he might need their voice during the song as he anticipated he will be emotional while performing it.

SNOOZE is a #1 fan favorite. And although Suga’s songs didn’t reach #1 on billboard and his songs aren’t dance heavy or poppy those that listen to Suga can not only feel his pain but through his music they can heal Themselves. This song is a song dedicated to younger artists trying to pursue stardom but this song affects many of us.

It’s not cuz of that , it’s cuz the industry don’t make money out of him. Most of the money goes to him , meanwhile jks music goes to the industry aka the typical western producers that are already rich , this why suga won’t get radio , will get filtered and also the “fans” don’t promote his music cuz according to them , he doesn’t give “the tools” aka radio play and playlist to chart lol. The current mass of “BtS fans” are just fans or trendy stuff aka what is push by the industry, the ogs fans didn’t care about that , that’s why you got songs like bst , spring day and mic drop started to chart. So in other words , it’s just the current “BtS fans” that only care about the ML for looks and trendy staff and will never admit that.

@@mev9752 The fact is that JK only made his breakthrough with English songs. It doesn't matter how good someone is, if they don't sing in English they won't be really popular. People want to sing along, so singing in English is an advantage. I'm actually an Agust D fan and I'm not Korean. I'm from Europe but I love him and his music.

It’s not about language , it’s about what the industry made out of it , and they make A LOT out of jk last music. Ahh one of my fav songs of 2023. Soooo good! Before I became a fan of BTS (2023), I knew of them but not their music. I randomly watched Agust D documentary on Disney + and heard this song. I cried. So beautiful.

Another one of my absolute favourites. Yoongi's lyrics and emotional delivery, ahh. Woosung's voice is beautifully haunting, and I believe this is the last song Ryuichi Sakomoto (legendary composer) worked on. Yoongi said he wrote this song for his younger peers trying to make it in the music industry, but a friend said to him that it sounded like he was talking to his younger self and trying to comfort him. Love this song.

This is my favorite song off DDAY, but DDAY has really solid songs. Just that this song is perfect in every way. I love Woosung’s voice. It blends with Yoongi’s rap and just the overall vibe of this song. If you know how Yoongi is with his members, you will get how significant this song is. He’s loving and very supportive. He quietly takes care of them and is always there when he’s needed. His love is not loud but it is strong. Please add the DDAY US tour vlog to your long list. There’s a bonus there with Jimin 😁. I love how real your reactions are 🥹 and I feel the same way for Yoongi. He breaks my heart and makes it whole again. He’s amazing.

You should watch his behind the scenes for this. He wrote it for the next generations of idols because he genuinely loves to take care of the younger guys coming up in the kpop scene because he knows how bad they had it when they were coming up. He is such a caring person it's almost too much lol.

It was one of the most beautiful, ever so stunningly emotional heartfelt performances yet from Yoongi, what made it all the more so heartfelt & chilling was the audience singing along ever so loudly especially in the parts where Yoongi stepped back trying to hold in the tears! It was like a truly full circle moment. This song is such an inspirational, ever so meaningful, beautiful song! The ending where Yoongi keeps saying ‘dream’ is taken from “So Far Away” from his first 2016 mixtape. I personally feel this original version with Suran, is preferable, though there is also a remix version made a bit later for Festa. Suga just gets me. And he doesn’t even know me. His songs always hit me hard too. I cry each time even though I already know it. His voice has a way to tear me apart and elevate me at the same time. He is a true genius. His sincerity shines through. Actually, all 7 of them are so real their sincerity always shines through on all their songs; solo work or group. It will all be ok, Tammy🥹💜 I’m 57 and have suffered from depression since my dad passed away when I was 13. You live through it with better and worse days, but you make it for those who love you; your children especially. Keep listening to our boys!! This song really gets me too. How often do we all tell ourselves that everything is going to be fine as we try to encourage ourselves to keep pushing on? He definitely spoke to us from his own experiences and also made it relatable to our own lives with his words which were delivered over the haunting sound of the piano in the background. Such a special talent.

With Snooze, YOONGI is comforting his dongsaengs TXT, Enhypen, Seventeen, New Jeans, Le Serrafim and &Team because he said BTS had no one to look up to and comfort them while they struggled - so he wants them to know that he’s there for them. This song is simply beautiful, it breaks you and rebuilds you, it heals you. I love it. Yoongi wrote it thinking of his "juniors" mainly, but it also applies to the rest of the people who have dreams that they struggle to fulfill or live. Her words are applicable to so many things, so sincere and profound. They make me cry and at the same time, make me feel strong. Thank you very much for the reaction! 💜 PS: I highly recommend that you watch the live performances of D-DAY TOUR: THE FINAL. I cried my life away, sang them like there was no tomorrow and ended up "lighter", stronger, more determined, and with a smile on my face despite the tears. I loved everything.

'Snooze' is a song that made Suga's debut as a singer and said something he wanted someone to tell him when he was having a hard time. So it's a song that feels more sincere.. Of course, Sugar's songs are all songs with sincerity. I think it would be good to see Snooze on the last day of Sugar's D-DAY final concert. Yoongi started crying a lot while singing Snooze that day.. 😭 The final concert for the last 3 days can be seen at imax cinemas around the world on April 10th~ ’스누즈‘ 는 슈가가 가수로 데뷔하고 힘들었을때 누군가가 자신에게 얘기 해 줬으면 했던 말들을 노래로 만든거랍니다. 그래서 더욱 진심이 느껴지는 곡이에요.. 물론 슈가의 곡들은 다 진심이 담겨있는 노래들이지만요. 그래서 저는 슈가 노래들으며 운적 많아요. 슈가의 D-DAY 파이널 콘서트 중 마지막날 부른 스누즈를 보면 좋을거 같아요. 그 날 스누즈를 부르며 윤기가 펑펑 울기 시작 했거든요.. 😭 마지막 3일동안의 파이널 콘서트는 4월 10일에 전 세계 imax영화관에서 관람할 수 있어요~

Loved the reaction. So sorry forgot to mention this one is emotional. Psy That That, is a fun one, quirky to me. Suga, raps and dances, he also produced. Suga, wrote Snooze while in the hospital, nothing serious, I think just to build immune system, ( not sure exactly, not sick). I say that because it came to him in regards to trainees and new artist. Not wanting them to experience what he did, and how his career was life altering not all good, then you have to go find yourself again. Of course this also applys to others, Army. Everyone has dreams, has haters. Once he mentioned how he was leaving the agency to go home, saw other trainees, he left went and got them food and brought back to them. SO sweet. Suga, well all of them know about the battle of your mind, haters may be outside but your mind will also betray you. It is a tight rope. Everyday is a new day. Tammy you need to go see D Day Finale in theaters April 10th and 13th. The concert helped me so much, the order of the songs, brings continuity, just helpful. I don't want to give spoilers, but I also saw in concert , theaters and on line and every time was amazing plus Army being there just adds to the songs. Seeing him smile, touches ones heart. Not that it matters *too* much, but this isn't an official MV, it is fan-made. The scenes are from his documentary "Road to D-Day". The video is beautifully made, though, and I spent D-Day era hoping we'd get a surprise MV for this at some point. Alas! But at least we have this beautiful performance with Woosung. If you haven't checked out The Rose before, definitely give them a listen. They are extremely talented and have a great pop-rock vibe. I saw them live a couple months ago and they were amazing. "Snooze" is such a beautiful song. As you get into watching Suchwita, Yoongi and his guests bring it up quite often. He's such an empathetic person and he wants to change the industry for younger artists so they don't have to come up as rough as he did. It's really admirable because it's so easy to close off once you have success, or feel like others should have to suffer like you did to "earn" their place, but Yoongi's not like that.
