I've followed Amira for a couple of years. I'm glad you finally found her for yourself. At that point she was totally untrained or self-trained. Now she is performing internationally and is well-known and respected. She's really amazing and a beautiful person so deserving of admiration.

My journey through the Got Talent shows began with Amira. She was first. Since that time I have met many great talents, including many amazing children. Amira's performance was shocking and it is still today. It was unbelievable - she didn't have a teacher, she just found a song on YT and learned it! And sang in such a voice! I watch her performances with joy and emotions for years, but I also come back to the first one. Thank you, Eddie, that she' s here and we can admire her together 😊

This has always been one of my all-time favorite talent show surprises, ranking right up there with the likes of Charlotte and Jonathon, Susan Boyle and Louisa Johnson. I also love the quick flash just after she begins, a brief glance at a girl with pulled back hair, presumably one of the upcoming acts, and you can see clearly in her expression that she's thinking, 'My God, I have to follow this!!'. Thanks for the reaction. There are many more videos out there of her that she's done since, and she's only gotten better. Enjoy them all.

In every Reaction Video you can see stunned faces, there can be no greater compliment for Amira's stunning performance. When I heard Amira sing for the first time years ago, tears of joy shot into my eyes and goose bumps flooded my body. This physical reaction has remained until today, every time I hear Amira singing. Amira is definitely an exceptional talent.

I wanted to suggest you to watch Amira for some time Eddie. I follow her since she first appear on Holland Got Talent and won. She is still miracle for me :))) When ever I can I listen to this video of her first performance...Happy that you found her too . She is famous now, you can react to her performance with Andre Rui , or on some from the concerts in South Africa, for example.. Or others....It is your choice :)))

Yes, this audition was Amira’s first big public appearance. She had appeared in a public park at age 7 singing the same song dressed as a rather innocent 7-year old hoping to get strangers to drop a few coins at her place. She repeated that with her brother at age 8. She & her family were in a couple of church appearances & she was the lead in singing Nella Fantasia, I think, with a children’s choir. The amazing thing is that she was self-taught with no vocal training. Her voice matured markedly from age 8 to age 9. And she went straight from her audition to the semifinal where she sang Ave Maria & to the final where she sang Nessum Dorma by Puccini. Each performance was outstanding. She did win Holland’s Got Talent” for the year 2013 & celebrated staying in the competition during the final by flopping on her back imitating a dead animal as she had seen in South Africa, something I, for one, had never seen before in such a competition. She was & is an interesting, humorous, & generous person.

Hi Eddy, Amira is amaziiing. She won the competition and she had no experience at alk. She listened opera as she said via you tube and learned herself. She is famous now and travelled a lot and performed in different countries with expercienced famous opera singers. Pls react to more videos👍👏

I can understand why you decided to skip the judges reactions, but in this case you missed out on her receiving the "Golden Ticket", the Dutch version of the Golden Buzzer, and her endearing reaction to that. Also a few amazing insights into her early beginnings, when the judges ask her a few questions about that.

Here she is 9-years-old !!! You should hear her now at 15-years-old ! I first found about her singing 4 months ago. She now performs on stage (20,000 people at one performance) with professional Opera tenors & sopranos. Like I commented on this channel 5 days ago in my opinion Amira Willighagen is ONE of the best & most beautiful female singing 🎤 voices in the world today 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽💕💕💕 She is Dutch, Born in The Netherlands 🇳🇱 but now lived in South Africa 🇿🇦 with her mother (parents separated). Amira donates part of her earnings to build playgrounds for the children of South Africa. She has made millions of dollars (U S) from her concerts and albums at age 15.

Yes you're right, with Philippines, Korea, Kazakhstan and China (Russia for children), Holland is one of the countries blessed by the Gods for singers. In France, we have little Emma (who is Corsica), in Israel you have Tali Kuper (of Russian origin). We should cherish them because we do'nt have many others. 😁 About Amira, she obviously started learning opera singing after that first audition. Her breathing and her vibratos were not very good at first. But at 11 years old she was perfect. IMO, in the age/quality ratio, it was at 11 years old she was the most astonishing. Of course, afterwards she continued to improve but she was older and had therefore passed the age of being considered a prodigy. She remains the most great young opera singer of our time, before Sterre van Boxtel, Laura Bretan and Jackie Evancho (to speak only of the most famous).

You should listen to what the judges said, and their judgement, because it tells you much more about her. And why the first five seconds after she lifted up her incredible voice in song made her a worldwide star.

Alma Deutscher … Her CINDERELLA opera sold out in San Jose, California, near San Francisco. Her Carnegie Hall concert had her playing her piano and violin concertos plus other music like music from CINDERELLA and her Viennese SIREN WALTZ. She orchestrated all of the music. Both are available on line and disc.

By not listening to the judges critique you missed a funny, but telling moment. When the female judge asked her who taught her how to sing, Amira got this cute "worried" expression that said "uh oh, was I supposed to have a teacher? Could I be in trouble?" LOL

From Israel you need to get up to speed on Alma Deutscher. An absolute musical genius. She is friends with Amira. She played the piano at two years old and violin at three. Composed an opera at ten. She more than makes up for anything that Israel might lack for childhood talent
