This aria seems unimaginable for the child to sing, especially without lessons and teacher support. Vocally, this performance was probably a bigger challenge than the others, but it was great and moving. Eddie, I can't imagine you not expressing freely your opinions here, especially since you always do it in a substantive, matter-of-fact and respectful way. Sometimes I disagree with you, but I value your opinions very much - as well as the fact that I can also freely give my own 😀

No formal training, no teacher, she did it all by herself. She watched youtube then became one of top opera singer in the world. Pure talent helped by a kind of musical genius.

@@israeliguyreacts5808 She does perform. Nessun Dorma many times when she is older look up Nessun Dorma Classics is Groot 2017. Unbelievable performance. There is only Ave Maria for English speakers Holland's Got Talent 2013. She only did the the three performances audition, semi finals then finals. 6 months or so after the show she performed O Mio Babbino Caro again, this time the full version with Andre Rieu. Make sure you choose the one from Andre Rieus channel it's the only one professionally recorded. It considered one of the best performances by a 10 year old ever recorded. Amira gives and incredible full voice interpretation of that opera aria it's hard to believe it's the same song by the same girl just 6 months older. She had a lot of rehearsal time with Andre Rieu and his orchestra. The video has 28.75 million views and that's after being locked out for almost a year while they straightened out the copyright. Her performance is beyond belief, 15,000 people, uproarious standing ovation and most of that huge audience was in tears at the end. You will be too when you react to it.

She had a bit of training from Rieu after the first appearance. Two years of working with video; lungs from being a winning distance runner. Just finished High school as Valedictorian and going on tour.

She sang it again a few years later in South Africa and you can hear the vast improvement. This performance was amazing fora 9year old with no training. Her voice control and breathing, she makes this very difficult song look quite effortless. And the quality of her voice. A natural talent as you said. She is 18 now since March and just released her fourth album which is of the live concert she did on her 18th birthday and which was live streamed. It is a mix of opera arias, spiritual songs and songs from musicals and films.

Right, here at 9 years old, she still did not know exactly how to sing opera. At the time, all the specialists reproached her for her unsuitable vibratos, without seeing the unbelievable talent of this little girl. @ Continent Zero and @ John Thomas . Totally agree with you . 2015 was one of the best years of Amira . Her performance in Iceland was of one total perfection .Ave María Gomez in Canisius church did show a powerful voices for a child of 11 years old . But also were wonderful performance in Spain and in Malta

amira is the best singer in the world and she improving with age, 18-02 2020 she turn into a very beautiful young lady. i believe she 16 years old next mouth march 23rd the word for scots pipes is BAGPIPES.

at this point...she has spent 2 years watching and sing along with KZbin-videos... ...and you know what they say about copying... the amount of brainpower and the EAR... needed for this type of study... and at her age...the two other that comes to mind are very good but the styles differ...so no point in comparison comes down to which style one likes more...one has already lost her upper the other, one can only hope for the best. I for one did...still do of the three Amira has had the easier time of it vocal wise...and feel that she will surpass both in the long run...if, " IF " She wants to work on her technical side of Oprea...it is a necessary part in Oprea... and if she does...she will go down in history... one can sing Opreic in style, but to or want to call oneself an Opera singer to make it in Oprea, one needs the technical skills, it is a big BIG part in Oprea...she will sound good with or without it, her talent is Big enough, but to realize the full talents she has she will need the technical aspect...it is now 2020...her technical is falling behind the promise of her talents, still young she has time, no rush... but a few years of hard technical work would greatly improve her overall performance. this Aria is so, so hard...and for an untrained 9-year-old, self-taught... it Amazing! SHE GETS A 10 but... in judgment... she gets a 5 for getting on stage, gets 2 more for the difficulty of the Aria, gets 1 for presentation, gets 1 for vocal quality' gets 1 for overall performance, lose 1.5 for technical skills. 8.5 on ...self-taught, no lessons, 9-year-old is a WINNER in my book! SAY WHAT YOU THINK...FOR THE AGE. BE NICE ABOUT IT NOT THE SAME AS A 25-YEAR-OLD.

Amira struggled more in this song largely because she was very ill prior to the performance. She sang it again later after she won the show. It was better for sure. She had a much better showing of ave Maria a few days before. But all in all you summarized it pretty well.

Reactions are uninteresting if you are not honest and the fans will go berserk if you are. Truth is that child singers are cute and we like them because they are not adults, not because they sing, sound and look like adults. Amira improved a lot the years after the talent show. Not only in singing but also the way she acts on the scene, always self confident and easy to watch. One of Amiras more brilliant performances in my opinion is when she sings O Sole Mio in duet with Patrizio Buanne. She is 12 and her young voice is quite unique.
