I know the name sounds dark, but it's the opposite! A nemophila is a kind of flower that is native to the United States but has become a very popular import in Japan. In the US, it is called "baby blue-eyes." It has five petals, representing each of the five members of the band. One of the two lead guitarists Saki recently decided to leave the band, leaving them a four-piece, so it'll be interesting to see if they bring in a fifth member or just redefine the flower symbol in some way.

Just to be clear, the band have never stated that the five petals represent the then-five members of the band, but it's a nice assumption by fans. There are any number of five-petaled flowers. The band members have said they chose "Nemophila" because they wanted a flower name, a name that sounded both foreign and Japanese, and an association with the color blue (because the members all like blue).

You need to continue with Nemophila, such variation from "Dissension" to "Odyssey". I also want to request that you check out the band Epica!! I suggest starting with "Consign to Oblivion", live at the Zenith in Paris. It's popular with the reaction circuit!
