i agree with those some great live queen vids. but with Jojo diving heavy into Queen's catalog of songs idk if you (Niah) want to too many of the same all at once. maybe sprinkle the queen songs in between some other stuff. but thats just my opinion. I saw them in concert in 1979, I walked up to the balcony that was in front of me and a friend came and got me, I was leaning over, and didn't realize how far, I felt like I was on stage with them, I went to many concerts, it was so different and amazing, Freddie changed outfits many times during the concert, he was great.

You really need to see the studio version video. Made in 1975. That video had to be made because they had to be on the British show The Top Of The Pops, kind of like American Bandstand here in the US, and they were on a tour, so they couldn't be on the show, so they made the video. There were other videos by other artists before that but the Bohemian Rhapsody video is considered to be the start of the video revolution. Back in the day, videos were not made as promotional tools like they are now or from 75 forward. Bohemian Rhapsody was Freddie's baby all the way.

The guitar player is Brian May, one of the greatest rock guitarists in the world. He custom made his own guitar and amp when he was young so there would be no other one that sounds like it. Today he's an astrophysicist and college professor but still performs occasionally.

This is another one that was epic to see done live. I remember hearing it on "A Night at the Opera" Album way back in 1975. During the center section of the song is so complex with the overdubs and multi tracking that it's impossible to re-create live so the stage goes dark, the band leaves and they play the studio/video part from 1975. When it's over the stage explodes and they come back and light it up again.

This song never dies...its been here for decades...epic and legendary..only song who got 3x on top charts..when its release on the 70's..when freddie died on the 90's and at the movie waynes world at 2000's...check out the crowd singing the whole Bohemian Rhapsody before the Green Day concert 2017, so touching and simply amazing how freddie still holds the crowd at the palm of his hands...nice nice reaction for newbie in queen journey..enjoy..

Queen is a British Rock group formed in 1971 consisting of : Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and piano Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals John Deacon - Bass guitar Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals All members of Queen were not only talented musicians but all 4 wrote songs and Queen is the only group where each of the four members wrote hit songs. Freddie is the composer of Bohemian Rhapsody. You need to download the studio version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody (aka BoRap). Normally, I love the live version of Queen performing their songs even more than I love their studio version. Their live versions tend to be longer and played a little faster than the recorded version. Queen liked to make their songs more theatrical for live concerts. As Freddie once said, "If you want to hear our songs as recorded, buy the bloody record". In the studio version of BoRap, Queen experimented a bit. There is an Intro section that can't be reproduced live. When you listen to it, it sounds like the entire band singing in harmony almost acapella, but in reality, it is only Freddie Mercury singing. He recorded himself singing the melody then recorded 4 more tracks of him harmonizing with himself. Also in the studio version, there is a lot of multi-tracking and panning of the sound left to right. If you pay attention, you can notice the tone of Brian May's guitar (the Red Special) constantly evolves throughout the song on the recorded version. Also, I recommend that you watch the official video made for Bohemian Rhapsody. It is the first video of its kind ever made. Prior to it, the videos were made by musicians to promote their songs to distributors, not for the public but the BoRap video was actually made to promote BoRap to the public. At the time BoRap was released, Queen was scheduled to go on a worldwide concert tour and would not available for tv shows to perform the song on a TV show. So to promote BoRap, they created a different type of video, one designed to be shown to the public and it was so innovative for the time (1975) that it spawned the music video craze and the creation of MTV.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a rock opera. The guitar player is the great Brian May. A bit of trivia: Brian May built that guitar out of pieces of his old fireplace and plays the guitar with a penny rather than a plectrum.
