Linkin Park’s first 2 albums are absolute classics. I grew up with this band and they have been of one of my favorite bands of all time growing up. R.I.P. Chester Bennington 🙏🏻

The line “breaking the habit” has a much different meaning in this song, especially if you pay attention to the video. He’s not talking about getting clean or fixing himself, it’s talking about breaking the habit by taking one’s life, thereby ending the cycle This was the only massive song of theirs that they didn’t play at their concert honoring Chester after his death, because it hit too close to home and they didn’t feel comfortable performing it.

Mr Hahn, the DJ of the band, is responsible for this and a lot of their other videos. For this one, he had artists from Japan on board.

Forgotten by Linkin Park has to be one of their most underrated songs. Every other line in the pre-chorus goes between Mike and Chester and the guitar riff is crazy!!!

For a hardcore fan, it is not underrated I assume

FYI, this music video is animated by none other than Studio Gonzo, which brought you Afro Samurai, Hellsing and Super Street Fighter 4 animated endings.

He battled depression and ptsd since he was 7 years old after being molested from age 7 to age 13 and finally told his dad you will hear a lot of pain in his voice through the songs.

Same thing happened to me for a year at age 11 to 12 by someone close to me. Took me so many years to just get out of bed and live life. I really wish Chester would have gotten the help he needed. I'm much better now and I know if he could have hung in there a little longer he could have too. RIP Chester

@@SK-Ocelot I am sorry you went through that. I have a similar story from age 2 to 13 and I have been in therapy my entire life and I know Chester did get help and medication etc ....... I am so glad to hear you are doing so well. I understand Chester, not that it was the way out I just get it. Rest in Peace Chester no more pain buddy.....🙏

Thank you for another Linkin Park reaction! Linkin Park started out just having songs with Mike and Chester, or Chester alone, on the vocals for their studio albums. But over time they included songs with just Mike rapping, or even Mike singing. When you have a vocalist like Chester, I really admire the choice to have Mike sing, when they felt it fit the song better, or made it sound more authentic. I wouldn't put Mike in the same category of singer as Chester, but he's actually quite good, and he has a really pleasant sounding voice. I'd love to hear your thoughts on their song "Waiting For The End". To me, it's a song that takes many of the things the band is most known for, breaks that down to the essentials, then refines it. Brilliant song!
