I love Lacy. Your shirt and hair juxtaposed against the warm colors of the couch, walls, and curtain behind you when you were talking about applying to grad school, car stuff, and anxiety made me think of the Mona Lisa. Your messy up-do and earrings around the 18-minute mark is sooo 90s cool. It makes me think of Marisa Tomei in the film "Only You" (Norman Jewison, 1994).

Happy new year! Seeing you apply to grad school is so motivating yet so anxiety inducing 😭 I dropped out of a master program in 2021, took a break due to burnout, and am hoping to apply to two grad programs in a new state (currently living at home to save money to move) within the next year…. I feel like I’m taking way too long and am just so worried about failure 🥲

So happy for your upload today, Belize is beautiful! Sorry for the random Splatoon tangent but I was wondering if you’ve ever played the story mode of Splatoon 3? It is absolutely stunning. The environment is much bigger than the battle stages, so there’s something satisfying about moving through the levels. And like while I don’t want to spoil anything, there was one level that was really cool because it’s a maze, but then the maze gets flipped vertically and you have to climb back through it. If you haven’t played it yet, I hope you might consider it 🙈 I’d be so curious to hear your thoughts. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead! 💙
