That’s pretty soon for a Retwist. Ideally it’s every 4-6 weeks but as a starter the less you mess with it the faster it locs.

you could try to fix it yourself or have whoever does your hair fix it. unraveling in the early stages in normal since the hair isn’t fully locked

I’m 3 months locked and just did my retwist for the first time on Saturday. Turned out way better than I thought and now that I know how to do it on my own I get to save my money on a loctician lol

3 months in! Second month in I got my retwist in 3 weeks cause i reeeeeally needed it. This weekend made 3 weeks again but I have a wedding next weekend so I’m here to learn to do it myselffff. One of these days after work I’m going to struggle and get it done!

So I’m trying to start my sons and he has two strand twist in for about 6 weeks. So you only twist the roots and not the actual two strand twist? You just let that continue to grow down? I’m scared 😂😂😂 I can two strand twist just scared of the lock part! Yours super cute 🥰
