Thanks for your thoughtful and informative review. Nice to see the bike performance on hills and at dusk. Surprised at the headlight's brightness and beam pattern. Also nice to hear a fellow motorcyclist's impressions. Though the value is there, having a fixed battery is one disappointment for me to consider this model. Gonna stick with my petrol bike for a bit longer. Ride safe!

Hello Andre that's a beautiful area you live in there that's quite like for sure very stealthy way to get around nice and quiet definitely would be good for short trips and commuting.

Yup, it’s nice when it’s not pouring with rain or all iced up! (Not that either would stop me getting out, but it is more fun in the dry!) as for the bike, I think it’s great as a runaround, but I think I need something a bit quicker with a longer battery life to make the switch to electric.

Thanks for an interesting review. I found it informative and useful. This little electric motorbike would almost work for me as a daily commuter. I’m going to need something more powerful, and with a bit more range, to feel really comfortable on my 55 mile round trip commute. Around my neighborhood it would be pretty sweet to have for short trips to the market, etc. I still have the Rally and the old KLR. Looking forward to getting the TransAlp. Happy Trails!

Vmoto stash is coming out with a 7.2kwh battery. 125cc equivalent 75mph top speed and it would do the distance you want.
