I’m sorry but how are those remotes best in class? They look old and square. Srams pods are much more modern looking and also controls not only the motor but the gears and dropper post too on bikes fitted with the whole sram powertrain system like the megawatt carbon. Reviewers seem to be hyping this bike up is a bit of a fishy way! I smell Apples marketing team at work here which are the real owners of this bike as Apple own DJI….

Sounds like a promising system, definitely good for the market. Though with all that power a 170 - 180 mm travel bike would be amazing, I've never felt over biked climbing with that extra 20mm but it's waaay more fun on gnarly tracks. Relatively light ebike with long travel and range is the money shot

@SamsBikes6 ай бұрын
Yep I’m sure the next bike will be a long travel version
@blazelong38035 ай бұрын
I kind of like having options in the 160/150mm range as I feel that's the sweet spot to where it's enough suspension to do most anything and still remain playful. Seems some of the slightly heavier and bigger suspension emtb's are just kind of point and shoot on the downhill and can feel a little dead in the flatter sections and not as poppy/playful. Then you can have a regular bike in the 170mm range for the bike park days with lift/shuttle access.

The industry needs shaking up- the prices are ridiculous high. I just took delivery of a Stark Varg- full motocross at 12,900 us $. My mtb is a Levo turbo comp carbon- 6,900 us $ on sale- great bike, lots of fun. 700wh battery vs 6.5 kWh. Yes I understand economics. And wow, it seems to be really quiet but...Gen1from anyone...going to be some reliability issues w that motor somewhere and where the heck do you take it for repairs? Not a bike shop and would not be so simple to mail it back for repairs like a drone which means you could go months without a bike if something goes wrong. So that's the biggest risk with this IMO right now. With that power I'd like to see it spec'd with Sram AXS Transmission so I could shift anytime without blowing up the chain and gears. GREAT VIDEO :) It's a shame because this bike and this system represent the best of both worlds in the world of EMTBs, but the fact that it has a 1000-watt peak power motor means that this bike will not be allowed in America and several European countries. I don't think so much power is necessary: at most, Rocky Mountain's Dyname 3.0 and 4.0 motor is close to the maximum and is quite sufficient, and it is legal practically everywhere. The bike centers have made good progress to open their mind to allow EMTB's on their trails, this bike will again, question this progress, will see. So, i would change nothing except, lower the power to 500-750W.

@@SamsBikes you posted two videos about the DJI motor. You spammed KZbin. Haha.. Being bugged by on topic engagement is wild dude. Have a nice day.

@therealjimmy5411 mate I get spammed all the time so I just asked not to copy and paste the same comment, I hope you understand and yes conversion kits have been around for years but in general they are not performance Emtbs

I cannot find a single other review of someone actually riding this bike. How did you get to be that 1 guy?!...And when are the follow-ups coming? :-)

Haha mate I was very very lucky right place right time! My long term review will be coming in a month or 2

@SamsBikes awesome,can't wait. I'm in the market to make the irresponsible decision to liberate some unexpected cash I received on my 1st eMTB. Reading elsewhere, though, it sounds like this bike won't even exist for the public until maybe 2026! Really attracted to the Canyon:ON CFR and the auto everything tech on the NukeProof Megawatt... But cannot find those available either! Whichever I can come across first will probably be my purchase. If you find out any hint of a production date and availability on this DJI bike, please let us know! ..Loving your videos!
