Sorry for the crackly mic on this one, I may have broken it on the ride.

Nice video. My good friend and BMWphile rented the R Nine T Scrambler for our ride up the California coast to The Quail last May and he enjoyed it, though it had knobbies on it (in true scrambler fashion) and he was frustrated with it since we were pushing hard in the twisties on asphalt. Great "character" from the engine and people approached him to ask about it at every gas stop.

I have a few bikes and bought a R9t original new 3 years ago. By far my favourite bike. So much fun to ride and the torque is amazing.

Great review, thanks. I've had this bike for a year and done over 10k miles on it. I absolutely love it. I was interested to hear that you are 6 foot 4, I am also that height and people always tell me that the bike is too small for me but I find it a perfect fit, although I may look too tall on it.

Personally at my height I found it perfect also. I loved it. Who knows why they stopped production on this.

Thanks for your review👍. Im only 5ft 6, do you think I'd be too short for it?

Looks awesome, twins are so deceiving with speed. I remember when I first got my SP2, heading down the road in 2nd thinking I must be doing around 60mph looked down and I was closer to 90mph. Took some getting used to after riding a gsxr 600 😂.

Sure do, I especially love the sound of this boxer engine

I should try one of these, because it doesn’t have any appeal for me from the looks.

I admit I've never taken much notice of them until I saw one in real life

Beautiful bike, though a little bit on the heavier side, especially for a cafe racer.

It is a heavy bike but on those corners it's planted

Also not a fan of the fairing. The NineT Pure has no fairing and is fantastic looking.

The Pure is a good canvass to work from, and certainly cheaper than this
