Honestly, I have seen most of your videos where you have went off road with some other review bikes. You were absolutely much smoother on this bike even being a Hardtail then the other bikes on easier trails. That speaks a lot for this bike. Great job.

Great Video Scott! As I’ve looked into the Ramblas it’s cool seeing what an awesome hidden community there is all over the country for trail riding. I think this bike is going to get a ton more people into the sport! The gap between this and a similarly capable full suspension bike is like another 1.5k-2k. Do you think the Ramblas is good enough to keep a beginer ocupied for years to come? It’s tough to tell how much better a full suspension bike is for trails on youtube.

Let me put it this way, tomorrow I order another Ramblas. There is a huge difference between the hard tail and full suspension. But I can have 2 Ramblas's (1 to share with a friend) for the price of a full suspension. For those who are wanting to see if this sport is for them, I don't know if there is a better emtb at this price with these components that can do the job better than the Ramblas.

I love the Aventon brand and the little things like how they package their ebikes. Can you swap out Aventure2 fat tires for PLUS tires like 2.8 or 3-inch? I have no idea if the wheels have to be changed also. And not for nothing - you have a very pleasant review style Scott! I like that this trail ride has real sound of the bike, tires, gear changes, and grunting!

I have asked Aventon if it s possible to put thinner tires on the Aventure and waiting for a response. I believe they will say yes but waiting to confirm.

How would putting a suspension seat post work on the Ramblas? Great video comparison, btw. Oh, and, LOL, Midwest Black Diamond there is blue/ green here in NorCal.

If you put a suspension seat post on the ramblas (which is totally possible) you would just need to remove the cable and lever that works the dropper seat post. You know if I can ride the trail, it's not a REAL Black Diamond.

Had the same issue with the dropper post lever, what fix other than replacing the seat post did you find. Just got mine last Saturday and it was an issue from day 1. So far with 100 miles on the bike its the only issue I have had.

Considering the ramblas. Do you have any issues with it not being tubeless? And do you find yourself wishing it was full suspension?

I currently have my Ramblas at the shop right now getting new tires on it, new forks, new dropper seatpost. We are going to see if taping the wheels will make them tubeless. I will be doing a video on the upgrades soon. Also, to answer your other question. I own both the Ramblas and the Giant (so that does give me a full suspension bike). I find they both have their strengths so I am glad that I have both. I am sure if Aventon comes out with a full suspension, it will be just as fun as the hardtail. Since the Ramblas is my first hard tail emtb, I am not yet wishing it was full suspension...YET!
