I just picked mine up yesterday and trailered it home. I couldn’t sleep last night because I couldn’t wait to take it out. I put 40 miles on it today with about 30 out on the mountain trails. Snow stopped me from going any further. I drove on the highway 5 miles each way, and it was so easy to ride. There is very little effort with controlling this bike, off road, and on the highway. I live in Oregon and it’s the perfect bike for what I enjoy doing. I can ride it to work during the week, and take it out to the mountains or desert on the weekends. I’m planning on a few weekend excursions with this bike once I pick up a rack and bags. So for, I’m in love with the KLX 300, and mine has the camo pattern as well. Very good looking!!! Definitely post some video of your KLX. Really enjoyed your video.

My 2019 KLX250 dual sport camo reminded me of riding a tall bicycle at first. So nimble and thin. My other bike is a Versys 1000 and almost the opposite feeling by being wide and heavy. The little KLX is still getting more rides.

Awesome! I definitely plan to add wider foot pegs and hand guards. What is the stock front sprocket, 12?
@scottjackson1633 жыл бұрын
@@GoldGuyRides Stock is 14. When you drop a tooth on the front sprocket, you definitely lose some top-end. For example, if 70 mph was comfortable before (as a cruising speed), then 62 or so might be the equivalent after going to a 13. I’m happy to accept the tradeoff though. I bought the motorcycle for duel sport events and I love the low-end “tractor factor” in 1st & 2nd gear.

I recently bought one too, in the frag camo color as well. Love the bike and just finished taking it for a 100+ mile off-road event still in the break-in period.
