Congrats on joining the club. The maintenance is very easy. Since the heads stick out and has the simple nut type valve clearance, adjusting the valves are easy and quick.

Thanks Ronnie, didn't Jeremy Clarkson say "How hard could it be?" Just before a colossal screw up.

Nice to see a run out on the new bike, such beautiful countryside you've got close by. Personally I like the run on sound from the exhaust but I know folks who don't like it on their MT10 after an exhaust change and they stop it by removing the air injection setup. Avon Tyres are produced here in the UK, I've never felt patriotic enough to ever fit them to my motorcycle. Being a small crowded island we are never to far from a dealer and I have a Guzzi main dealer only 7 miles away, I'm interested in a closer look at the V100 that just been released.

You will have to do a test ride on the V100, that would be a killer video. I'll be switching to Michelin Road 6s when the time come for the Guzzi. I adjusted the suspension and will be testing it tomorrow. You know one of my goals is to get you to like one of my videos....I still have a couple months left in 2022.😁😁

@@flatcapcaferacer I like all your vids, just forget to press the like button 👍 Michelin will be a better tyre.

@@Banditmanuk I really appreciate your support and comments. I would appreciate any advice you and Carol could give me to improve my videos. Feel free to let me know anytime, maybe I'm at my peak already. 😅😅

@@flatcapcaferacer To be honest KZbin still remains much of a mystery to me. For example my vid walking around the classic bike show posted 5 days ago has 10,000 views and 40+ new subs??? What makes it so special I've no idea. Yet the touring stuff we love makes which takes ages to make only gets a few views. Think my only advice would be is make the best quality vid you can. Vid resolution, upload quality and edited to only say what you really want. People have zero attention span these days, anything that bores them at the start they just switch to another vid. You should be able to see how long folks view for, the graph in KZbin Studio shows when folks switch off or where they watch longer or re-watch

@@Banditmanuk Some vids seem to be a little longer by their nature. I'm still struggling with sound especially wind noise. I know most of the vids won't reach many people but they are the vids I want to make. Thanks for your thoughts

Side question... are Triumph expensive to maintain? Parts mostly because I'd wrench it myself.
@flatcapcaferacerАй бұрын
@@ericroman9126 I guess after owning over a dozen Hinckley Triumphs since 1996 I should be able to answer that question. If you mostly do your own maintenance then the answer is no. I've owned a few of them over ten years and the rarely break with regular oil changes with filters. I replaced an alternator on a 1998 Thunderbird Sport in 2017. I' do routine maintenance except I have Triumph check the valves. My 2009 Thruxton kicked backed while starting and I had to replace the block after ten years. Triumph only charged me dealer costs despite the bike being highly modified. Triumph, BMW, Harley and Ducati labor rates are generally higher than Japanese brands when they do the work. I've modified and raced a few of my Triumphs and found them extremely reliable.

Quick question Flat Cap. I was on your other channel with a video of the old Tiger and you mentioned changing the front sprocket to 17 teeth. Do you plan on doing the same on the new one? I may do the same but wanted your opinion
@flatcapcaferacer2 жыл бұрын
Yes Mark I am, it gives another 300 to 400 rpm relief without affecting the acceleration very much. Right now I'm working on squaring the Moto Guzzi away . The sprocket companies did not have any other choices for rear sprockets this last summer, when they do I might drop two teeth on the back too.
