First Ride On My Suzuki M50 !!

I've got an '08 M50. I absolutely love this bike. I would never part with it. She's getting a full overhaul this winter. I've got 43,000 kms on it. 14k of which I put on. I'm the 3rd owner. She's getting sandblasted, a full custom paint job. Installing the headlight cowl from the newer model M50s on it. All fluids are getting changed. All the seals are being replaced except for forks as that was done almost 2 years ago. Upgrading the air filter, installing EFC. Installing aftermarket speedo. New taillight, headlight and turn signals. Aftermarket seat. Removing the instrument cluster on the tank permanently. Bike is already de-badged. 2 years ago I installed Drag Z handlebars. GoPro mount on handlebar and rear fender. USB plug. Phone mount. I've removed the passenger pegs and seat. No saddlebags, no windscreen. Installed aftermarket foot controls that move my feet about 3 1/4 inches further forward. The bike came with V&H pipes. Love the sound. She IS quick off the line, but loses the umph around the 4th gear. Very nimble bike and very easy to lean. I've had her as high as 160km/h (100mph) but normally, on the highway, I keep her around 120 (75mph). Reason I don't run her harder than that is I don't have a tach on the bike, so I'm not sure where the rev limit is. Also, not having a windscreen, the wind will start pushing my helmet up and back. Not terribly comfortable. lol

Did you add the foot pads? I thought M50s came stock with just front pegs?

Thats crazy your M50 struggles after 60. I go into 4 gear at 60.

Bro my suzuki c50 was carb and ready to ride in 30 seconds to a min if that was already ready to go and sounded meaner than the efi but efi is the way

Honda, 1300cc, 80 cubic in. Suzuki, 800cc, 50 cubic in. Apples and oranges, you've mentioned the 1300 I think seven or eight times in this video. It's a bigger engine, of course it's going to be a little bit faster...... Barely.

Thanks for watching and subscribe, it’s because i own both bikes and have ridden them kinda back to back. The Suzuki does extremely good for 800cc… but the overall quality of the honda is better, just has a more expensive feel! Stay tuned!

I am always perplexed as to why not to protect your ankles and feet ?!?!?!?!? sneakers and bare ankles ??? Ive layed a motorcycle down in an intersection, and I had denim on, and still got one hell of a raspberry on my thigh and buttocks.
