great first ride. Smart that you took the time to ramp up to the power of the bike, can't wait to see it at full speed! I LOVE the look of titanium and this looks incredible with in that metal. Thanks for bringing it to the EW!

I have a DIY 72V 3000W rear hub motor 58 pound MTB, and i go close to 60mph with it, you definitely need to be careful with that much power on a light bike.

Maaan… I can’t wait for mine to show up. You think the SE pegs will fit the back wheel?
@chimerabmx Жыл бұрын
Any pegs made to fit a 3/8" or 10mm axle should fit. Just use steel bolts if you plan to use pegs.

I've put that throttle on two of my bikes it is a thumb throttle you've got it the wrong way around you can put a normal thumb throttle on there if you want too it sounds so good as well I love it
@JohnnyPrimeCC Жыл бұрын
You can use it as thumb or trigger throttle. I kinda like it this way as trigger (it was shipped in this position too)

This is an interesting bike. The specs look great, however I have to say that the bike still looks like a prototype to me. It just doesn’t quite look finished yet. I’d love to see a side by side with the Zooz 1100 and Ulta flex.
@JohnnyPrimeCC11 ай бұрын
It's definitely a different type of build altogether - not really comparable

@@JohnnyPrimeCC What do you think about the Evolve Project Bmx? It looks like a sick bike, but top speed is only 23 mph unfortunately
@JohnnyPrimeCC11 ай бұрын
@stkyfngez it looks nice I just don't like the look of the battery under the seat. Reminds me of that Eins bike, though it does look nicer than that one

@@JohnnyPrimeCC I agree, it’s an eye sore for sure. It’s good to see more and more e bmx bikes out here tho. I wish it were easier to get a chance to try them out

@stkyfngez I agree on all of that! Happy to see more and more. Evol has a nice design too sort of like zooz but mid drive and battery on the seat tube instead of under the battery

Do you know if the throttle is a higo connector? I want to try a half twist and full twist when my bike arrives.
@JohnnyPrimeCC7 ай бұрын
From what I understand it's an easy plug and play swap to other throttles. Not sure the number of pins. I'm away otherwise i would check right now for you. But @chimerabmx will let you know if you hit them up

NGL I want this and I have a SWFT eBMX
@JohnnyPrimeCC10 ай бұрын
How do you like it? I've always wanted to spin one but nobody here has it
@ErnestMas10 ай бұрын
@JohnnyPrimeCC it's a total cruiser with bmx styling. It's super stealth as well ! I got a wide gel seat for it because the stock seat made my #butthurt for a week. You can get 30mi range if you go pedal assist 1. But the top end and throttle response on the Chimera is like comparing econobox Honda with a MCLaren.
@JohnnyPrimeCC10 ай бұрын
@ErnestMas gotcha. You would love this for sure. SWFT definitely looks fun. If it was around in early 2021 I may have even gotten it over the Zooz since a regular BMX with a battery was what I was looking for.
@ErnestMas10 ай бұрын
@JohnnyPrimeCC if you want a less hyper eBMX the SWFT is definitely the one, especially if it's their first ebike or are inexperienced in riding. Seems like polar ends of the ebmx types...

Nice bike but for the price I think everyone will veer towards buying a surron or talaria. Also looks like you can just flip the throttle the other way around and turn it into a thumb throttle easily.
@JohnnyPrimeCC8 ай бұрын
Yeah I flipped it to thumb side since this video. This bike is so different from the dirtbikes but it's a valid point. Now with the new Chimera Shadow model out, maybe that will cause people to reconsider
@HarryPNess9005728 күн бұрын
What’s range on it I keep getting vague answers only Range on throttle only ?
@JohnnyPrimeCC28 күн бұрын
@HarryPNess90057 depends on the settings. You can dial down the power on the 52v and get over 20mi throttle. At full blast you'll get more like 10mi. With the 36v battery you can pretty much double those numbers at the cost of top speed and torque. Explore my videos a bit more and you'll see all of this.
