Hey Guy’s, So here is the first ride on a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650cc. Thanks for asking for this review and if there are any bikes you would like me to review just ask and comment below? Cheers Nick @ MotoUK.

Air cooled engines is such a gold ❤️ comfortable riding position, ride all day all the time or any occasion. I love that engine, easy servicing, easy operation, quality parts, runs forever! R.E Interceptor is such "creme of the crop" from the rest. Love it❤️

Great review again, interesting to read so many comments saying it would make a good 2nd bike. I had other bikes along side my Interceptor, and found I rode the Interceptor more than anything else, so I sold the others, and find the Interceptor does everything I need, happy on country lanes or fast A roads. The engine casings are polished alloy, and need a bit of keeping on top of, otherwise they can fur up and look a bit scabby, but if you own a bike that looks this good, polishing and general maintenance are almost as enjoyable as riding. Thanks again for your thoughts.

It's the same fenomena everywhere with the interceptor👍 the other bikes gets dusty from being unridden. Such an impressive motorcycles for such simply designed but has such amazing riding pleasure from it❤️

The 'blue' fuel tank reminds me of my ducati MKIII 250- oh how I miss that bike after all these years. At 60yrs now and having done my bit for queen and country, the 650 seems like my new ride to see out my hill roads in Scotland and the North Coast 500 before I cannot ride any more.

now that would be an ideal second bike, I have bought all my bikes from Preston Motorcycles, including my present Z 900, will see how you like it next week I am sure it won't disappoint.

I knew you had a Kawasaki but didn’t realise it was a Z900! Look forward to seeing it when we meet for the Rocket 🚀 3!
I have to admit to preferring your "Sunday ride" & "Cafe series". Everyone does reviews of bikes & it gets pretty samey. More drones, Lakes & scenery :)

The bike you rode was a Euro5 version. I have one and it occasionally cuts out on idle in trafic. The dealer reflashed the ECU but so far no improvement. I've only done 500 miles to date but the bike I test rode doesn't do it now it has 800 miles on it, so there's hope.

Just bought a chrome one as a second bike. Couldn't justify the T100, (or couldn't sell the cost to she who must be obeyed). No regrets about the purchase though and it's a nice contrast to my rally pro.

I was surprised when you said the brakes were 'unnamed" as I've seen them marked on the calipers as "ByBre" apparently standing for By Brembo ???

@morgan.enfield3 жыл бұрын
The brake calipers are no longer marked "ByBre" on this new Euro5 generation and are still made by the same manufacturer: Brembo. In addition, the old models (Euro 4) are being recalled by the manufacturer for replacement because they present a risk of seizure due to oxidation, particularly with the salt dumped on the roads in winter.The new calipers (unbranded) are anodised, the old ones (Bybre branded) are painted and must be replaced (free of charge) for safety reasons by a Royal Enfield dealer.

The tires are CEAT brand. I believe it is an Italian company manufacturing in India. I had the same brand on my Bullet Trials, Michelin now.
@MOTOUK13 жыл бұрын
How were they 😁
@dennisolson36673 жыл бұрын
@@MOTOUK1 The CEAT tires were quite squirrely on rain grooved roads. The Michilins are much more stable.
@thomasfrank2803 жыл бұрын
@@dennisolson3667 Thanks for that feedback. The 650s used to come with Pirelli Phantoms till this year. Last year the Indian govt restricted tyre imports and that seems to be the trigger for the change. Unfortunately, it means that we are stuck with the CEATS. Not sure if the option to switch to Michelin or Pirelli is there for us any more.

@denisg42883 жыл бұрын
What do you consider good tyres. So many conflicting views on that.
@MOTOUK13 жыл бұрын
So tyre technology has come on so much in last 5 years that I don’t see any need for super sticky dry road tyres anymore that you need to change every 3000 miles. I have been running the Bridgestone T30,T31 and I believe T32 is available these are sport touring 2 compound tyres. So soft on edge for more grip and hard in middle which is 80% where you will use most and these give 6,000 miles. Super nice in dry or wet!. I have also had a current set on of the Pirelli Angel GT2 and these are in my opinion even better.
