@@MOTOUK1 I’ve just purchased the instamic with the windshield and cover, I think it should be perfectly fine with the x4. The lady who I think runs the company is really nice and helpful, once it gets in my hand and the weather improves I will go out I. My bike and push this product in the uk. It’s very impressive for what it is. X4 doesn’t sound so good over Bluetooth but yours was the best sound I came across so far.
@MOTOUK19 күн бұрын
Just to be clear the Instamic doesn’t really work well connected to an insta x4. I have never got my audio from Bluetooth on Instamic and always use internal recording and sync in post to video section. So I used Instamic as a separate recorder

@MOTOUK113 күн бұрын
Yes if you sync both cameras to the remote you can record and stop on remote both cameras. However the remote can only wake up one camera not two. I normally do my videos with camera and remote on all time so no issue and can start stop from remote in sync with two cameras

Hesitating between this one (the new MY 2025) and the Tiger sport 850 which you have also tested. Which one is the most comfortable for the pillion? With two up occasionly does the 660 has enough power/torque?
@MOTOUK115 күн бұрын
Depends on your budget really, I would go for the 850 sport as it is more power and would suit 2 up for longer trips. Maybe a little more room for 2 people. Both great bikes though.

Just installed in a 2024 T120. I received the kit from Tec that included progressive springs and white plastic spacers, but no washers. Did your kit come with washers? Perhaps Tec changed the product to not need washers between the progressive springs and the new white plastic spacers. Wondering if some knows.
@MOTOUK122 күн бұрын
Washers are used from originals you take out. Had to watch my own video back to check as it’s been a while 🤣
@macrmj21 күн бұрын
@ Thanks for the reply! Only had one washer in the left tube between the original white plastic spacer and the metal spacer. I sent a query to Tec asking if it is necessary to have a washer between the progressive springs and the white plastic spacers provided in the kit. Right now the white spacer is sitting directly on top of the spring in both tubes. Will see if I get a reply. Thanks again!

great video. one question... When you press the record button on the remote controller, do both cameras wake up at the same time? I have the problem that I can control both cameras at the same time, but if they go into sleep mode, the remote control cannot wake them up.

Thanks for the info. Would you prefer the Tiger screen as base of connections, or the Garmin?
@MOTOUK123 күн бұрын
Not sure I understand your question, can you elaborate
@advhcan20 күн бұрын
@@MOTOUK1 Normally we use the bike's info system as the "base" connection point. Mobile phone connects to the bike and the intercom connects to the bike (both via bluetooth). Otherwise (if you connect intercom to the phone) you have some connection problems. But, even if I connect both phone&intercom to the bike, I experience some "lag" or "delay" when using the navigation, making phone calls or listening to music. Triumph Tiger uses Bluetooth 5.0, my current Zumo 396 uses Bluetooth 4.2. Zumo XT2 uses Bluetooth 5.0 too. I wonder, if you connect phone&intercom to the Zumo XT2, instead of the bike's system, would it be better?

The tiger 800 has higher compression, revs higher, and hits Max torque at much higher RPMs. It is a higher stressed engine that generates torque and HP at much higher RPM. The difference is pretty much like comparing the twin 1200 high torque to the high power. Sport bike tune, vs all around tune. Scrambler 1200 has the best tune of the three.

Hello Nick! My name is Peter Olah, I'm from Hungary. I recently bought a brand new Triumph T120 in Jet Black. I saw the SW-Motech Legend Gear side bags and carriers in one of your videos and I really fancied them, so I'm considering buying them for my bike as well. The question I would like to ask you is if you have any experience riding with a pillion on the T120 with the SW-Motech bags mounted?As I'm riding a lot with a pillion I want to make sure that the bags don't hinder doing that. To be more specific: aren't the bags in the way of the pillions thighs/legs/feet?

Greetings from germany; had a similar issue on my MT10 SP. Engine was spinning and tries to start, then it died. Also there was the yellow SCU warning symbol. I charged the battery and the charger doesn't show a problem. My mechanic checked it and found a dead cell inside the battery. So this is how I understand it: engine was spinning, but the spark plugs didn't get enough energy. I tried to start about eight times (tried it 3 days to figure it out). The spark plugs were ruined due to the gas and had to be replaced. If you experience the same: bring the battery to the dealer first - they have specialized diagnosis tools.

Glad you're OK. Nice bike, luckily the damage wasn't too bad and lucky you didn't tumble the wrong way over the side of the hill! As a Cumbrian, a bit of advice for anyone thinking of coming up in the winter. Bear in mind altitude which will affect temperatures, and the fact that the sun is low all day so some roads don't even get any sun because they're behind a hill, so the ice never melts. Also, valleys can funnel wind, increasing any wind chill and creating colder areas and retaining any ice. And lastly, the roads are narrow and there's not much room to avoid anything or take a 'convenient' fall! I've just bought a BMW GS so I'll soon find out if I can handle it on these roads as I'm a shorta**e! 😂 Take care, all but enjoy your ride 👍🏻
