Still quieter than some of the Harley’s I’ve owned. I also think it’s quieter than my old R1M with the AR pipe also. Can’t wait till I get her broken in and use full revs and throttle.

They sound great! How was the install and fit? I’ve read/seen some people saying they’re a very tight fit on the header pipes.

The install was very easy. You want the tight fit, but spraying WD40 on the outside and inside of the pipe ends lets them slip together easily. Just be sure to spray down and wipe the pipes with brake cleaner before starting the bike so you don’t have fingerprints burned into them.

After much research I went with the PEAK mount and phone case. The vibration dampener is already built into it so be need to add or pay for extra and bulky dampeners. Very high quality.

Even with the stock pipes I wasn’t bothered because the cats were in the silencers. Heat is definitely less now that the cats are gone. I don’t know how these pipes would be with a passenger though. I removed my passenger pegs as I don’t ride passengers.

did you leave the bumpers inside?? I have the same exhausts but I took them out. I'm wondering if that's going to hurt the bike

I left the baffles in the pipes. Too loud for me without them. I’m not sure if the bikes ECU can make a big enough change to compensate for not having any back pressure in the system.

Yes she rides very well. I didn’t feel any leanness to it. Very smooth. These pipes do have the baffles in them. I’ll get it on the dyno to check the AF ratios after I break her in.

Gray painted? The aluminum is a brushed finish with no clear coat over it. I’ve had monotone bikes. The latest was my full carbon Ducati racebike. Depending on the bike it’s nice to have some contrast. But bikes should be done to fit their owners taste and to hell if others like it.
