First Run for the SCX10 II

This is a little bit of the first run and introduction for the channel's new SCX10 II build. At the time of recording it was almost completely stock. The only mods were a set of universal axle shafts and the light bar was removed to help with the center of gravity. It performed way better than expected, but had some shortcomings. The video starts about 2 hours into our crawling time. Shortly after the video ends, the Deadbolt lost steering. There will be a video coming out covering the tear down, any damage and going over some of the upcoming mods. Someone in a Facebook group recommended this park (JB Owens Park, Holly Springs, GA) and it did not disappoint. It had everything. Trails, creeks, waterfalls, some awesome rock formations and even a couple big hill climbs. Expect there to be more videos of runs at this park! We spent almost 5 hours there and only ran on a very small section. There is way more to explore.

The initial purchase and cost of mods reminded me of what I didn't like about 1/10, but getting out there with them reminded me why I used to be happy and willing to look past the cost. I still love the 1/24 stuff, but the 1/10 trucks can do so much more.

@@grizzlyworksrc I agree with you. It’s so much cheaper to upgrade a 1/24. But completely different world than the 1/10
