@@thetexastickler5698 She has cystic fibrosis, and has been taking Trifacta, a new drug that is helping a lot of people with CF who previously thought they'd have much shorter life spans. Stephi used to have a much quieter voice as a result of her lungs, if you go back and watch a video from a couple years back you can see how much of an improvement its been.

my younger brother had it all, good looks, women, vacations all over the world, partys and women. But then he heard the words from his dr. '..get your affairs in order..you have maybe 6 months to live." Lung cancer..took him away.. but we spent a lot of time before his departure from this place and he told me in his deepest darkest hours, he knew he'd made a mistake with his life, it wasnt about the things, the places, the appearances..for him..it was family...and it was family that took care of him right to the end. I grew up in an LA suburb as a teen and lived in Brentwood for one year for my first year of college, and it was the most toxic environment ever. The pressure to be successful, the pressure to be beautiful, the pressure to be a certain kind of person was crippling. Also, the people that LA attracts are some of the most entitled, vain people I have ever met. Don’t get me wrong there are definitely things I love about LA, but once I moved away I realized how much it damaged me.

I feel like we lived such similar travel experiences. California was the ultimate destination for one of my vanlife journeys. I got there and it was crowded, loud, and like you said, super fake feeling. (Not to mention, hot and sandy isn’t the most blissful vanlife combo...) I think anyone who feels energy deeply can sense it pretty much immediately, and it was such a disappointment to me. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED the ocean, and the food there was pretty yummy, but the people...they weren’t my people. I had to accept that eventually. I tried to dig deeper and hit concrete. Also, don’t die rock climbing! Probably not a good idea to do that with some rando...😉😝

What I've noticed by following your videos is, we love when you take us with you on your adventures no matter what it is your doing!, we will follow along and watch just to check in. Those you described are what I refer to as “Fair Weather Friends” everything is great until you hit a bump in the road and they are no where to be found. North Carolina isn’t a bad place, warmer ocean waters and warmer weather with equal amounts of humidity.
