First show in 4 and a half months!

Wolftrap, The Barns make up concert. Finally back with a concert and a vlog. I know it has been awhile for both. Hard to get myself motivated to edit video these days. Hope you are all having a wonderful Spring.

That's better! You've returned! 😊 The light is back in your eyes; in your last vlog you looked so weary. I think after all you've gone through this year you've managed to come back pretty quickly. Bereavement on its own can take so long; you feel you just don't deserve to enjoy yourself, fearing being disrespectful. (And it may not be right to say this, apologies if so, but you don't HAVE to sing Over the Rainbow; you seem to torture yourself at times. It is a beautiful song though & I do understand what it means to you.) And you've had the additional problem of a debilitating illness. Thank you for letting us see this show, great to see your playfulness, bright as ever! And the top B is still there, floating beautifully! 👏👏❤️

There are so many reasons we admire you. It must’ve taken a great deal of effort to perform such a beautiful concert at a time when your heart must still be very broken. I will be attending your show on the 29th of June. It will be bittersweet for me. My partner and I saw you every time you performed in NJ over the past 20 years. She passed away one year ago this past May. Your voice and music saw her through many dark days and many triumphant days throughout her illness. Seeing you is going to be a sweet reminder of a beautiful life taken too soon, but lived beautifully until the end. Thank you Linda for bringing comfort and joy to your fans with your music.

The first time I saw and heard Linda was on the Rosie o Donnel show many moons ago. It blows my mind that her voice has only changed for the better. What a great singer. I have seen her live 6 times so far. I have enjoyed every one of them. Thank you Linda Eder.

Oh my! What a joy to see you on stage again and to hear that phenomenal voice! Always "there's magic in the making" (to borrow my favorite lyric from that great song) whenever LE steps on the stage. What a lovely dedication to your sweet Dad during "Over the Rainbow". He was at the very beginning when that little Minnesota girl proclaimed that she was going to sing. The rest is history. A special moment and a special time for both of you----and for all of us. It has been a difficult few months for you both physically and emotionally. But the healing has begun and will continue. Keep singing. Keep riding. Sometimes music and your beloved horses are the only medicine your heart and soul need. You are Lifted. Blessed. Loved. And so much more.

Your fans adore you and, at least speaking for myself, would be happy just to hear you sing the phonebook :) as long as they could see your beautiful, smiling face again. Btw, while I was delighted to hear that you did receive the fan, I meant to get back to you sooner re: the "missing" Dover Saddlery gift (life happened, as you can sadly relate). It seems that it was sent to the Tressamail, Inc. address approx. the end of July 2023 -- rather than to your home address. The fan went directly to your home address. So, guess there's a lesson there. And it's no trouble! It's my great pleasure (and believe me, no economic hardship) to send you something that might come in handy in managing the ranch and doing all of those wonderful things you do. I know the feeling - not able to do what you do completely drains your being. If other work keeps me from being in my studio( like spring cleanup and gardening } It's such a void , it makes me crazy. I feel for you , that's a big stretch to process all that comes along for the ride, all the noise in our head. . But its behind you now, and now expect the rest of 2024 to be in your favor. I'd demand it. I have no problem stirring up the powers that be to step their game. You sound strong, you look fantastic and I want nothing but happy surprises around every corner up ahead. and I LOVE your hair - it looks fresh and in the moment, and regal at the same time.

Linda, I’m so sorry we missed your return to Wolf Trap. As I told Ellen @54 Below we couldn’t return to see you at The Barns because my 55th HS reunion in Philly was happening the next weekend and all that traveling to VA was too much. As it turned out, my friend and classmate from San Diego who flew in for the reunion wanted to see you @54 Below. (She’s the one who put the quarters on the stage!. Her first time seeing you.) We got the tickets and drove from Philly to NYC! It was great to see you and your performance was wonderful as was what I just watched on your vlog! The Barns was hilariously funny and you amaze me with the ease in which you perform and treat the audience as friends. Not many performers are that kind. I’ve lost count as to how many times I’ve been to your concerts….at least over 100. Keep them coming and as I said that night it’s okay to be sick and cancel. You’re a special person and we all have our bad times. Thank you for sharing your life with us and know my deepest sympathies are with you in the loss of your father. I do have one request, though. Please return Leslie Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me” to your set list!?? I think you know it’s one of my favorites!! 🥰🥰

Nothing can prepare us for the emotions the will overwhelm us when a family member passes. My father will be 103 in 2 months. He just keeps going and I know it will hit me hard when he passes. I am so glad your father meant so much to you and you did share those emotions on stage. Never worry about hiding those feelings. That is what makes you special to your friends and fans. I hope you can squeeze in a Los Angeles trip sometime this year or next.
