Hi Linda: It was too bad that you had to cancel your lower desert California concert. I attended your Irvine concert and you were outstanding, as usual. I hope that you return to southern California soon! I enjoy you vlogs very much; it is a wonderful way to keep in touch with your life and career! PS: The Pic is of Dame Shirley Bassey, not me. I am the moderator of one of her KZbin sites, and show her picture. Regards, Scot

3:40 well you get the role in Macbeth, witch 2 😅 Can't believe it, first flood situation wow. Trying to remember the song by lonnie donegan chorus was "cool, clear, water" 😅😅😅😅 my mistake Marty Robbins, lonnies was bring a little water , but don't think that would suit your style.

An english garden , hmm thinking back to the one I grew up in, in the 50s & 60s, so peony roses, snow drops, clematis on one fence, sweet pea the other fence, bluebells under the tree (in next door garden and ours) , rhubarb beside the compost heap, mint beside that. Then the potato bed, lettuce, onions, carrots and radishes. The favourite for me was matthiolis bicornus planted next to lavender bush, it used to attract the moths in the evening and they in turn attracted the pipistrelles. 😅😅

Hi Linda, What a great Vlog! Thank you for sharing and updating us on everything. I was at the show on the 21st, and it was amazing. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for adding the clip from the mystery song-I taped that clip at the show too, lol. One thing's for sure: you probably won't have to buy apricot jelly for a long time.. I’m sure that’ll be a fan favorite to send you now! Hearing the crunch of that bread in the beginning of the video was pure torture, considering I'm on a low-carb diet and fasting at the moment. maybe just a quick song request? “Hushabye Mountain” Your vlogs show you've been through a lot this year, but seeing you happy and smiling is truly heartening. Keep shining with your positive energy this summer. Looking forward to more!

An amazing night ! I was parked on the hill near the railroad station in Fairfield and I still can not understand how it got so bad so fast. It was just sort of light rain when I arrived about 6:45 - waited until 7 and then was seated in the theater - no idea what was happening outside. Then people started talking about a flood ! Other people were arriving soaked, ruined shoes, etc. I noticed rain coming from the ceiling over the piano ! Then the announcement that there would be a show, but we would wait a while for people to try to get in. Thank you, so much, it was a great concert ! What a trouper !

Question: Why are some of Linda Eder’s albums listed as “spoken word” on the MUSIC APP? Unbelievable - I sent an email. Followed her since 1990; I can’t believe she sounds like this after all the years of singing. She takes care of that voice. Seriously- One of the greatest, purest, and versatile vocalists of all time (country, rock, pop, theater, standards, opera, bluegrass, r&b). I’ll include rap (she sings fast on a few songs). She is a diamond-throated warbler with vocal cords of velvety gold. And her son’s album is kick ass!

What a treat to have you share 3 events. I Love the addition of Alfie and Unforgettable to your show and your nuances that make them yours. Last year I read that a famous, accomplished singer will never do another concert because she'd be embarrassed if she forgot a word...I remember thinking how inhumane that was...I think we need those crazy moments once and awhile...they remind us that we are alive, authentic and happy to still be here on the planet. What's better than sharing a boo boo and laughing?! That's how good memories are made. Well, thanks again for sharing your vlog. Hope you and yours stay cool and dry in this crazy weather:) Oh, and you totally earned those amazing reviews!

Dear Linda, time has not diminished your physical beauty nor has it lessened your vocal ability. You are as sharp as you ever were. I have followed you for many years. I would love to see you perform with a full orchestra someday in the future if that's possible. Your band is awesome, but, through no fault of their own can match the possibilities that an orchestra could provide. Again, your band is top notch and is appropriate for the setting inside a club, however, to hear you sing with a full orchestra would be the medium that would rise to the level of which your voice truly deserves .

Linda - from the completion of your first line of lyrics, from the first song you sang, from your first appearance on "Star Search", way back in.....well, I ain't a'gonna go there.....LOL.....you, your personality, and of course your voice, have bewitched, bothered (in a good way), and bewildered me (in an even better way)! "If I Had My Way" and "Gold" literally transport me into that place where there is no time or age. Being as old and jaded (LOL) as I am, it takes an artist of supreme talent to do that! THANK YOU!!! And thank you for your vlogs, too. Through them, you've become the younger sister I never had. Love you, "Sis"!! <3

Talk about lapping at the door. Flooding, which we get plenty of here on the island, makes me glad my house is near the upper edge of my property. The lowest part of my land is a100 metres below, and quite the river when it rains. (Stop building on flood-plains, people.) We're just past the shortest day of the year, and it's a wee bit nippy (seems like the sun is hardly up, before it's midday and headed for the horizon). Trying hard to empathise with too hot. There are old apricot orchards near my place (the weather was recognised as perfect for setting stone fruit in this valley, early on), and I'd get 20-30 kg of 'seconds' from a small grower to stew or make jam with. They're a marvellous fruit. Especially the heritage varietals. I hope the dogs and horses are managing to keep cool, and Mozart. Well deserved write-up. Good to see Ms. Lavin is still getting out and enjoying life.
