silly people were criticizing the color, I think the original was fine. V14 the definition of "Hard Mode" :D

I totally agree. So much, that I purchased the orange panels to have replacement on my V14-50S. The color reminds me my Honda XR250. Han anybody see an all black motorcycle for Enduro/off-road? Same case as those complaining of the plastic external panels. All Offroad motorcycles are designed the same way. More resilient 🤣

Hi NIGK, please share with us your opinion when comparing D mode vs S mode on 50S version (mileage, response etc).

Ok, I just finished the 50s range test two days ago, and I am currently editing the video.Actually,I've tested 50gb before with different mode,but the test results are not very different between them.Endurance is more dependent on the rider's weight and riding speed different mode,and this time, I used the cold test for the endurance test of the 50s version in order to test how much the low temperature will affect the endurance,so these variable factors have a greater impact on it, As for the different modes, I don't think there is much difference, at least in the current algorithm which I don't think will have much impact,even if there is, it is almost negligible.By the way,just call me Jerry😛

@@nigk_jerry Interesting. I guess between 50GB and 50S, the differences may not be evident until really pushing hard, but I read Inmotion was working on the firmware adjusting the output dynamically. Which could improve mileage, noticing all other variables being constant. I do not know if that was already implemented. Please Nigk, add on your video the firmware versions to have a reference or the future. We will be looking for your video. Thanks so much for sharing 😉

so these 50S batteries, they have a higher amp output? but they last fewer recharges. so its a tradeoff between speed and longeivity?
@nigk_jerry
@nigk_jerry 4 ай бұрын
Yes, we are currently testing the difference between regular 50gb version and 50s,In theory, 50s can improve more stable current output, especially in the low battery,About the charging speed, currently using 18a output charging test, it can charge 1% in 40 Seconds,But as you said, the 50s cell has half the charge and discharge cycle of the 50gb version, which can support about 250 charge and discharge cycles.This is indeed a difficult choice.
@gpsanino
@gpsanino 4 ай бұрын
This was a common belief that started from people reading a Samsung 50S specification sheet, without considering the conditions of these tests despite they were described on the same document. After 250 cycles, the capacity decreased to 60%. While a 50GB cell decreases to 80% after 1000 cycles. Without reading anything else, we would be horrified. 😱 However, the conditions of the tests were not similar. Again, we should compare apples to apples. For 50GB it was at 1C and for 50S it was by draining at 25A (about 5C) single cells (not packs like ours). And this makes the entire difference. 🤩 The longevity of a battery is not an absolute or single variable driven. It highly depends on the environment the battery is being used. Jason form eWheels, acknowledged this "controversy" and helped by investing on independent lab reviews of the matter. And found no significant differences in retaining capacity for our EUC type of settings - in some cases even better. The 50S cell releases less heat (measured if temp probes are set properly during the tests - he had problems with that at some point). Therefore, 50S is more efficient and since heat has a mayor role in battery decay, it should not be a surprise that its longevity may be just as good and in some cases even better. It seems that 50S' mayor issue is only its price. Time will tell. Long-term tests, of riders using EUCs with 50S, are the best type. 😉

Hi. Why do you have such expensive accessories for the Inmotion V14? The seats are very expensive....
@nigk_jerry
@nigk_jerry 17 күн бұрын
Actually.the truth is someone chinese bought it from me in China and sold it at a high price in Russia.But if you're talking about my $159 price, then I'm sorry, because we spent nearly nine months on this project from design development to the end test, and dozens of kilograms of 3D printed filament were wasted in the middle of the test printing.During this period, we iteratively upgraded 29 versions.So it does take a lot of time, effort and expense.But now its popularity makes us feel that everything is worth it, and the feedback from users is also well,This is a great encouragement to us.So we have started the production of open mold injection molding PU foam.The subsequent price may be adjusted.Thank you again for your comments.

I totally disagree. This is the type of "beliefs" spread by social media (and marketing) due to oversimplifications. Just like MP in photography, without even thinking on the lens optics relevance for the image quality. Unicycles depend on balance to be controlled. So they do have a limit for travel distance. More is not always better and EUCs are a case. Excessive travel compromises control (mass center moving too much with each compression). Checking with my friends marks on stanchions we have noticed most riders do not use more than 45mm of travel. I prefer a better type of suspension (progressive coil + the stanchions of V14) rather than long linear travel (that gets more exposed to collisions) with only the shock resisting compression. The tests proved it: 93kg pilot, falling vertically 1m and no bottoming up. Reviewer are finding out V14's suspension is awesome and Inmotion just improved the softness of the stanchions (motorcycle style) and provided two versions of rear shock. I do not fall into the simplistic marketing of "higher numbers". We already went to super big wheels and now are back into 16" . Probably it will happen with voltages as well. We may find that too high voltages are not as great (e.g. longevity of electric components).
@ironorion8888
@ironorion8888 4 ай бұрын
@@gpsanino bullshit. longer travel distance, longer shock absorber can be installed, longer shock has spring that can accumulate mor e energy for dissipating later on. eg stairs, drops etc. v14 is not offroad wheel. s22 is. extrreme with240*75 shock is. with big shock you can make it move smooth and easy from, the very begining, with small shock you cant. small shock will either folds up cause of your weight or will work only on rough surfaces.

@@ironorion8888 You are free to believe what you want, but your thinking seems limited to a linear response suspension, whereas V14 offers a progressive response. It's essential to compare apples to apples. Off-road vehicles commonly adopt a progressive suspension approach (MTBs, dirt bikes, cars, etc.), while linear suspensions are generally reserved for vehicles primarily used on smooth roads. Additionally, an off-road vehicle is not solely defined by its suspension; weight balance plays a crucial role in achieving fine control in an EUC, an essential factor for maneuvering between obstacles. However, your proposed vehicle does not comply with that either. Weather resistance is another crucial aspect, which you also overlook in your proposal. Consider the width of the tires on off-road vs. road vehicles - it's a fundamental difference. Now, compare the tire width of V14 vs. your proposal. Continue by comparing the resistance of the motor rim, then how easy is to maintain, followed by motor output power not just at 100% SoC but under 40%, and the list goes on. In your case, before using that model for off-road purposes, I would check if it has the 125V MOS. I may disagree with your opinion, but, of course, I respect it. I am not the type that uses terms like 'BS' to qualify other people's opinions. My point is, despite the key features associated with off-roading, with a type of vehicle that weighs less than its pilot, the response is highly influenced by the rider. This is why we see riders doing marvels, including with non suspension EUCs (more responsive). All personal and valid choices. If you are content with yours and it meets your needs, that's great.
