Looking good,dryer sheets work well but im using blue shop towels. Modern tunnel portals will look good on the mountain. Keep up the good work.

Your form looks great , like the opening in the middle. Just a thought here, you could use a damp paint brush to "smooth out " the plaster soaked sheet a little, to get rid of the "lines" thanks for sharing Chuck RVRR

Thanks for the advice Chuck, I plan on doing a second layer that will include more plaster sheets, rock molds, and just plaster. I will definitely blend the seems at that point. Thanks for watching.-Ed

Hello Sir, Just came across your YT channel today and found it very interesting and helpful so I subbed ya. Watched another video of yours where you installed the magnets for uncoupling, I like that idea, gonna get me some of those. Been using the dryer sheets for a while now too on the diorama's I build. I've also been using those sheets that the stores provide for wiping down the shopping cart handle too. Anything to save $$$! Thanks for sharing! You're doing a good job!

Thanks for subscribing, I saw it on a video and decided to give it a go, They actually do really well. They hold the plaster very well and when dry the form a nice hard surface that is not that difficult to manipulate after the drying time, plus it smells really good when sanding..HaHa. Next video is coming very soon Thanks again and thanks for watching.-Ed

How do you plan to get the tape off the track when your done
@EagleValleyModelRailroad5 жыл бұрын
I've got a 1/4 in by 2 foot wood dowel, that tape doesn't stick that great just enough to stay in place while doing the plaster. Thanks for watching - Ed
