Makes me miss my 1974/75 Yamaha DT175!!! Every guy in school was jealous and wanted one, I had a blue one and I rode it to school everyday!!! On the weekends I’d take it on an all day ride with a couple of friends and take on trail rides but nothing extreme!!! Thanks for the memories, I wanted a 250 but it was a little too much bike for someone who weighed 97lbs!!! You got yourself an awesome find and a great bike!!!

I had to click on this video, because the weird thing is, I have this same exact bike! It doesn't have the original paint though, but it's a strong runner! I've rebuilt the cylinder with an oversized piston and it has tons of torque! Glad to see you guys have yours in original condition and you're taking care of this old bike! Just make sure your two-stroke injector is working and you don't run out of 2-stroke oil in your 2-stroke oil tank, because you'll seize up your cylinder and have to rebuild it with a new piston like I had to do! Have fun with your bike! God bless!

My first bike was a 1976 DT175!! Back in 81, I bought it for 150.00. Out of all my bikes I've owned, that one brings back the best memories, 14 years old and blasting around the hills with my friends

Love the find! Takes me back to the early 80s and riding with the neighborhood friends after school. Beasts to ride but we threw them around pretending to be Hannah, Barnett, and/or Bailey. I rode a 74 yellow TS 185 and the rest were mixed Japanese brands no newer than 77. Nobody had single shock bikes and we put them threw the paces. They come down hard!

They are a great little trail bike Jason good find. I had an earlier RT360 from about 1966 which was pretty quick and a real terror to ride, it put me in hospital 50 year ago for a month after a crash in a "Club Motorcross" practice day. But as soon as I was out of hospital I fixed the bike and got right back on and rode it.

Hi Mike, man that is one beautiful example I have a Yamaha Enduro brings back so many old memories. I have to say thank you for that. You actually kind of remind me of a guy I used to ride with in southeast Florida. Those were the days man, I know we would jump on our Enduros and just go for the whole weekend. I can tell you Mike we were not scared to take those things for 500 miles on a weekend easily. Then of course with age we built our way up to the crotch rockets and everything else. I think the most favorite bike that I ever had was a 500 Titan with the twin high low shifter on it, the guy I bought it from told me it was an experimental motor and you know I should have held on to that one in particular because I have never seen another one like it. Anyway brother thank you for sharing. Many blessings to you and your family.

I pulled an old Schwinn bicycle out of the attic above my late grandpa's shop. I cleaned up the chrome on it with nothing more than soapy water and #000 steel wool. Came out pretty decent with that even. Also the reason they pop right off for Mustie every time is because he has the magic touch.
