So sorry you have been very sick and had to travel so far while not feeling well. I'm amazed by your ability to do so and by the abilities of your children to be so well behaved while they are also tired and some are sick. You and Solo have obviously taught them very well. It's a pity some adults cannot behave equally well. I had to laugh and smile when a few of your children fell asleep wherever they stopped. I can only imagine how tired they were. I'm glad you got all the testing done and that you were able to be treated. I hope you are feeling much better now.

So glad to hear your family is doing better. My FIL went to Africa December of 2017 for mission work. He came back and got sick. The doctors thought he had the flu. By the time they figured out he had malaria it was too late. But despite the loss. My MIL and BIL went back to continue working. They just got back last week. I really loved seeing KKV and can’t wait to show my husband. I would love to sew into such an amazing outreach. 💚💚

I could tell you felt terrible and had to just keep going even under all the stress of traveling so far with children. You were a trouper! Thank you so much for sharing all the videos throughout your trip. This was such a real and close up look at life in Kenya. Most of us will never get to visit and this was so fun to experience through your videos. The safari and the coastal visit were fun, however, as a former teacher I was most impressed with the school your grandmother started. I wish I was young again and I could go there to work and experience it for myself. I can not explain what a wonderful effect it had on me. Enjoy being home to one special family!

I'm glad you and Solo handled that rude man! I had to fly across the country with my 2&3 year old kids (by myself) for a family emergency and there was a rude gentleman in front of me too and I told him off... my kids were amazing and didn't cry or make noise, they were busy playing and eating. Luckily everyone else was super helpful and empathetic. People really can be SO ridiculous, it never ceases to amaze me.
