First Sweet potato harvest of 2024

Hello, welcome to the garden. My name is Alicia and I live on one acre with my family. We have two active kids, one goofy German Shepherd, and we love to grow food. Today we have some critters trying to eat our sweet potatoes while they are still in the ground, time to harvest.

Sorry about the critters munching on your sweet potatoes. But you got some pretty nice size potatoes. I grow mine in a raised bed and have wire mesh on the very bottom. I love sweet potatoes and can just have them for dinner. I can some for just that reason. That whiney German Sheppard sure is a cutie.
