Received my gear, taking it on a 3 day hike this weekend. Very impressed with this pack after filling it up with my winter gear. It's going to be cold and rainy so should be a good test run. I did purchase the tactix belt to attach to the pack - IMO they should include the waist belt as part of it. I've got ~40lbs in it and the difference in comfort with and without the belt is crazy.

@@fourtenscapegoat yeah I’ve heard the same from others who bought it direct from the website and left a review. I agree but I was able to use a goruck one that looks alright on it and works wonders.

Thank you so much for this real and very detailed review. Especially because it has become hard to find pure useful information on youtube betweeen all these meaningless click and advertisment hunters. Baught this bag a few days ago and came to the same results as you with this bag so far. Amazing spacious, very practical, impressing amount of compartments and pockets. Then not the best carrying system with not an optimal adjustment especially for shorter people. And some weak points in the material or stitching. And of course one would expect a waistbelt at this size and price of the bag. I also had the 1-day specialist but found it too small. Both bags had almost no chemical smell, very nice. The 1-day is made of 1000d nylon and therefore makes a more robust impression. The zippers of both bags were partly running rough (as you also mentioned). I think I would prefer a conventional MOLLE system instead of this laser cut scheme.

Thank you for the thorough review. I have the specialist 3 day which is slightly smaller slightly less feature rich but more affordable. I like ur pros and cons. Fair and use focused.

I really want to get this bag but the cheapest I could find is 350CAD including taxes and shipping. It doesent even include the waist belt part. Is it even worth it for that price?

CAD 350!! Wow! At that price I would look for other options, but Like I say, if you can get it on sale, like Black Friday then it try to get it.
