NBA ratings would be better if games were as competitive as that game last night. That felt like a Finals game and it was beautiful to watch.

Cavs will matchup better with OKC with Chet. Cavs only struggled in this game when okc went small and forced the Cavs to go small. Cavs also have several players just back from injury that are still getting their legs and rhythm. But every time the Cavs win it’s “of the team they played miss Guy-A.” Nobody ever mentions the Cavs been missing starters and 75% of their bench for a chunk of the season leading into this new streak and just got a couple back.
@montyrainwater515419 сағат бұрын
The Thunder play small ball with Chet on the floor. He is a very good three point shooter, handles the ball and very quick on defense. If the Thunder finally get to have Holmgren and Hartenstein in the lineup at the same time, it will be interesting to see what they can do.
@beingjoshmc15 сағат бұрын
Thunder lost almost directly because of the size discrepancy on the interior and Hartenstein being outmatched and in early foul trouble. Cavs fans are desperate to explain why the Thunder missing 30% of their rotation somehow doesn’t matter. Be happy with the win but quit trying to convince yourselves that you beat the Thunder in their final form. You didn’t. If I were a Cavs fan, this game would make me a Houston, Memphis, Dallas, and Denver fan because I’d be wanting to see anyone but a full strength Thunder in the finals. They’re basically evenly matched as long as OKC doesn’t have 30% of their players lol

I take exception to the title "Cavaliers rout Thunder". There were 30 lead changes and 8 ties. It was a three point game with just over one minute left. Hardly a "rout". OKC was missing two of their top three defenders. They will be even tougher if they get healthy.
@dom-kennedyharris14818 сағат бұрын

I was hoping that watching the game would help National media understand, but I still don't think they have processed what they witnessed. Cavs, OKC, Houston and San Antonio all play the game differently then other Organizations. They are draft and develop organizations in smaller or less discussed markets. The era of the Big 3 is over, this 3-D wing profile has morphed into something new, because the times of the 3rd guy being able to dribble around to an open basket does not exist with the Cav, there will always be a Big back there. There is no trade that makes Cleveland or OKC better this year (Maybe KLove for a 2nd rounder) for Cleveland all the answers are either in-house of with that empty final roster spot that Dwight Howard woulf fill if JA needed a break or KLove if he were released as a favor for him to come home. Go Cavs.

Get rid of “load management” bs. Players need to PLAY THE GAME. Embiid not playing back to backs is dumb, same with Kawhi. Play the damn game and put them on a minutes restriction for back to backs…”we’ll keep you under 25 minutes on back to backs” or “we’ll keep you under 30 minutes for all regular season, non-cup games.” Just get them on the court playing the game.

@@JamalWardlaw Clown, best defense in the league got scored on by Cleveland 129 points. The best offense in the league destroyed the "best defense" in the league. OKC was getting all calls and non calls. DID you NOT see that blatant out of bound play by SGA that resulted into a 3 point? He was clearly out of bounds and did not establish inside position when he got the ball. And the referee who was literally 2 feet beside him turned a blind eye. Look, calls can go either way. NOW, Cavs beat OKC with offense and defense. SGA could not score in the final 2 minutes of the game. Take the L and come back stronger next Thursday.
