Caruso was first team defense and he deserved it. He’s a much better defender than Jaylen, mostly because he doesn’t have the same offensive workload. Jayson was the defensive snub. Jayson is a much more consistent defender and his defense changed the end of Game 1 and OT. He also locked Myles Turner in Game 2. He can guard 1-5 and should’ve been second defense.

He’s never been underrated the Celtics team and their fans. They can be some of the most critical of fans, but they ride or die for that man. He’s not the same caliber of player as Jayson Tatum, who is the media darling for the team, Brown is the guy who sets the tone for the team and they aren’t this good with anybody else.

The most talented and balanced team in the NBA this season (2nd in offense, 2nd in defense) with the best record were lucky that a 2nd seed (with 14 fewer wins) didn't beat them? The Knicks were lucky that Embiid was playing injured and went missing each 4th quarter (3-18 from the field in the 4th across the Knicks series). Make no mistake, the Celtics are exactly where they should be, although the road was made less arduous due to opponent injuries.
