First taxi video of WAR Corsair

Today I did a couple slow taxi's to see how it rolls on pavement. Then move it to the new hanger for storage.

With a person in it for a real feel of size, it's remarkable how much this tiny thing looks like the real thing without that same context. I'm happy to see it moving!

That's what I thought, it looks really to scale. Some of the warbird replicas look off, not this one though she's a beauty.

@@MA-iv7ol I agree. I love the way the Thunder Mustang looks and performs, but it doesn't look nearly as much like the Mustang as this kit does the Corsair... That said, the Thunder Mustang is one of the more original looking of the common P-51 replicas, IMO.

I’ve flown the WAR FW190, and she didn’t like 3 point landings at all. Your best bet is a locking tailwheel

A little bit of differences between them in cost. The P-51 would cost more recked than that does now.

The Titan T-51 Mustang is a decent option with some good support behind it. There’s a “hotter” rod called a Stewart Mustang that’s like perfect scale but it has all the interesting characteristics of a laminar flow wing.

You need to set up a patron whatever it’s called so we can donate some money to you so you can get some video gear ie, GoPro/s and any steady mount gear too. What you have done is magnificent and needs the best photos and videos recording money can buy. What say you, all ?

Non-steerable tail wheel i know on RC Airplanes contribute to ground looping BAD especially those that have no tail wheel lock such as a DC 3 or such been in a few of those with my Dad years ago he had a commercial ticket/ instructor multi engine all yhe credentials needed back in the 50's/60's so i can totally agree with a steerable tail wheel on that beautiful gull wing you've labored to perfection👍can hardly wait for its maiden flight✌

Excellent work,it'a beauty,goog luck on the maiden. Thank you for sharing the videos,I do enjoy them. My Corsair is considerably smaller,pneumatic,rotating retracts,and powered by a 1 c.i. Saito four cycle,a nice flying RC bird. Anxious to see more taxi and tail wheel videos.
