1) Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal (B+) and touch it to GROUND for 30 seconds. (This is to completely discharge PCM capacitors, which maintain the Adaptive Memory. 2) Reconnect the Battery Cable 3) Turn Ignition Switch to the "On" position but DO NOT start the engine 4) Turn Headlight "On" 5) Turn Headlights "Off" 6) Turn Ignition Key "Off" The PCM Adaptive memory has now been flashed, or erased from the PCM. When you start the engine it will be running off a set of pre-programmed tables that come with the PCM from the factory.

Hey Ben! Great job so far on the build. Just a heads up, you only need to login with an FCA account if you want to access dealer features. You actually do not need an account to scan codes or look at diagnostic data. Just skip the login screen and the scan tool should take you to the normal homepage to scan for codes.

Don't forget the gap between the hood and the front bumper can be reduced with the weather stripping that goes there. It is plastic riveted in.

Sometimes theyYou will have to initialize the ABS module to the car. Sometimes they have to be new not used to run the procedure. I have the Dealer Micropod II. Can let you borrow if you want to use it.

Great work! But, no login needed. You just need an "FCA security adapter" for your bi-directional scanner. You scan and change values.

You need a Tazer, and then the ECM unlocked by HPTuners and use their software to edit thangs, you can read and reset codes with both and the with HPTuners software, look at diagnostic logs and toggle warning light triggers in the ECM.

The old abs will have a code that you will need to copy to the new one so don't through out the old one

When you replace the ABS it has to be reprogrammed. It wouldn't Rev because of the new throttle body and it had to relearn the throttle body.

The new abs pump will have to be bled too and the the entire brake system bled again. Bleeding the brakes does not bleed the abs pump. Depending on your scan tool and what Chrysler allows you may be able to do it yourself otherwise it's a dealer thing as well.

I would have just left the condenser silver because the paint is an insulator and will decrease its efficiency but I'm sure it won't hurt anything so if that's important to you I understand why you did it

Looking & sounding fine! My Challenger used to overheat, thought it was everything else, but what it was, it needed to be burped. But my engine had an air bleeding bolt on top of the intake manifold, then it ran fine after that.

Getting there well done, you might need the car to run through a ABS bleed, not sure if the vacuum will completely bleed, also if anyone is struggling with vacuum leaking I find putting some ptfe tape around the caliper nipple threads to seal them up help massively.

I'd forgotten by the end of the vid where you showed the door scratches.Dog claws.I watched my dog do the same to a friends car after I cut his nails and we were headed for a run.I Always took him for a 2-3 mile run beside my bike after cutting the nails as I'd gotten scratched 1st time.The sidewalks sand the nails.(plus there was a columbo episode where that happened to catch the killer).Glad the front settled nicely.

If original ABS plastic is broken no issues bro. Unscrew 3 screw from used ABS open plastic housing install your original electronic board reassemble and good to go. It takes 15 to 20 mint. Just do it. No need dealership.

Drive by wire throttle bodies have to go through an idle learn procedure. Also that abs modulator will need to be bled through activation through diagnostic scanner.

On that mityvac just use the line with a lil zip tie on it just snug it and you can use same zip tie and it’ll seal better

A good scan tool should be able to initialize your ABS, but if your local dealer is cool then they will initialize your ABS module, some will tell you that it can't be done and you need a brand new one. if all else fails get alfaobd and a Bluetooth obd2 reader and do it yourself, you would need a bypass cable though.

Yep dont be to keen to drive on the road until you have fully checked everything,get it on the lift and check xheck check . Do those cars only have one bleed port for the rear brakes? Normally you would start the bleed from the the most far away cylinder,in this case the passenger rear ? When you have finished it and its all sweet ,they will never know it was damaged ,thats rhe plan ? Black Ivory for the shifter handle bits ?or carbon fibre. Great to see in the comments about using a scan tool and no dealer required, there's so much information out there in internet world ,how did we ever get repairs done without the internet ?

I had to re-initialize the ABS module after I replaced mine. It goes through a calibration and stores the module serial number in the cars computer. My scanner was able to take care of it.

The center consol electricals must be plugged in for the car to operate. I installed a Barton shifter in my Challenger, and nothing would work until I reconnected the electrical connections that are in the console.

Autel sells a bypass Cable for the sgm. You unplug the module and connect the bypass cable and you can scan easily. The module is under the dash I believe. They started that bs in 2018-2024 models

Get the brake bleeder from harbor freight that hooks to your compressor. Makes the hand pump obsolete.
