Wow, your video has very good production values and a fun intro soundtrack- well done. It would be great though if you spoke at the end and compared the two saws and shared some thoughts...I have a question for you: I currently own the 550xp Mk II and have considered getting a 540xp Mk III as a lighter saw for extended limbing and small tree work. Do you find the 540 to be noticeably lighter than the 550 and easier to use? Is it worth getting, or is too similar in feel to the 550?

Thank you! For sure, it was the reason I bought the 540. It feels way lighter, almost like a toy saw (in a good way!). 540 doesn't have the power like the 550 but for smaller trees, delimbing and such this is the saw I will use 99% of the time. Cheers!

Same here, ordered a 540 as companion for the 550. The 550M2 is my favorite saw, by far. But why should I carry a 7 - 8 kg saw all day long when I don’t need a 20 inch bar most of the time?

Va tyckte du då ? Ja provkörde den lite innan 540 skulle trimmas . Men vart inte imponerad alls . För tung och kör heller me echo 2511 !!!

Lite klen kanske men hoppas det blir bättre med tiden. Tycker den känns väldigt lätt jämfört med 550 så det blir nog primärt 540 i resterande gallring. Är Echo lättare? Hur många cc?

@@FASTUNDERBARK den är jätte lätt och 25 cc tro ja . Men ja kör bara trimmade sågar ifrån @dunderkullen och köpte min echo ifrån Mora Slipservice. Men Andreas har flera sågar hemma som är trimmad och Husqvarna 550 trimmad går som en 560 . Fast ja föredra stihl 261 0,5 kg lättare mot Husqvarna:)
