Nice comparison fellas. The 540T Mk3 has me wanting to buy my first husky. Sweet saw for sure.

Thank you for weighing each saw with fuel, oil, and cutting equipment. Manufacturers like to post the stripped-down weight. I much prefer real-world testing on operating equipment.

Those new 540’s are excellent saws! I have both the rear and top handled version, super handy little saws depending on what you’re using it for. The top handle is a little heavy (in comparison to a trim saw such as an echo 2511) however, for a little extra weight the power output is unmatched. Great for everyday use and large removals.

Good job guys! I love my rear handle 540XP III for limbing and felling small trees. I've been thinning a lot of 4 to 6 inch beech and can go all day thanks to the low weight and great power.

I’ve never ran a husky top handle saw. We use stihl top handles at work trimming out of the bucket. We’ve been using a Milwaukee battery saw some too so you can hear the ground men. I’d like to try this husky saw one day. Appreciate the video!

@@TwinCityFirewood I think this generation of husky top handles are the best ones on the market. Can’t beat the battery though when working in a group!

We just added a second 540XP Mark III. They're replacing Stihl MS192/193/194 saws that aren't holding up. Got the 2nd Husky @ Woodsmen's Field Days in Boonville for $512 with the 16" bar. We really like these for limbing saws. We're never "in" trees so the rear handle is our choice. (Andy @ Southern Adirondack Outdoors)

@@andysmith8544 I had a 201tc, was pretty cheap feeling, when the handle broke I decided to fix it and be done with it before breaking again. Got the t540 and couldn’t be happier.

The 540xp chain speed is about 20% higher than non XP 40-50cc saws. But it's power per husky specs seems a bit low for an XP.

Husqvarna build there chainsaws here in south of Sweden, the city name is in fact Huskvarna. Husqvarna built there first factory there in 1689.

Wait...you said West Coast muffler sounds better than the Bark Box. I thought the WC muffler was a bark box?? Like A-A-Ron said, taking it in and out of the SawHaul all day would be a breeze!

@@KNLFirewood bark box bolts onto a 2 piece muffler, muffler cover is what it is. These mufflers wcs sells replace the factory muffler entirely.
