My good friend Jerome just adopted Karl from the shelter and we're gonna train him together. I'm gonna bring you all along on the journey. This is our first day of training and we're gonna cover a lot of the basics. First and foremost how to keep Karl safe by getting him to engage to Jerome. Being neutral to other dogs so he doesn't get into trouble and the basics of COME and STAY. YEAH, it's all in this video. And, if that's not enough, check out the full lesson over 30 minutes and hundreds more on my member only section at:

If you love training dogs and want to consider making it a career, check out my online course for dog trainers here:

No matter what breed or age or behavioral problem, I have a lesson that will help you to solve your issue and build the best relationship with your dog. I guarantee it.
In this video, I'lll guide you through the essential steps of basic training for your Rottweiler, helping you establish a solid foundation for a well-behaved and obedient companion.
Training a Rottweiler can be an incredibly rewarding experience, but it requires patience, consistency, and the right techniques. Whether you have a Rottweiler puppy or an adult dog, this video is designed to provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to start training them effectively.
We begin by emphasizing the importance of positive reinforcement training. By focusing on rewarding desired behaviors rather than punishing unwanted ones, we create a positive and enjoyable learning environment for your Rottweiler. We will demonstrate various reward-based techniques that motivate your dog to learn and excel in their training.
This video covers the fundamental commands every Rottweiler should know, including stay, come, and more. We break down each command into easy-to-follow steps, providing clear demonstrations and useful tips to ensure your training sessions are successful. You'll learn how to use treats, and praise to communicate your expectations and reinforce good behavior.
Socialization is another crucial aspect of Rottweiler training, and we dedicate a section of the video to guide you through the process. We discuss the importance of exposing your Rottweiler to different people, animals, and environments from an early age to foster their confidence and prevent behavioral issues down the line.
Additionally, we delve into leash training techniques specifically tailored for Rottweilers. Teaching your Rottweiler to walk politely on a leash not only enhances your control during walks but also ensures the safety of both your dog and others around you. We share effective strategies to address common leash pulling behaviors and make your walks more enjoyable.
Throughout the video, we address common challenges and mistakes often encountered during Rottweiler training, offering practical solutions and guidance to overcome them. Our aim is to empower you as a responsible Rottweiler owner and provide you with the knowledge to build a strong and positive relationship.
Join us on this journey of training and bonding with your Rottweiler. Whether you're a first-time Rottweiler owner or looking to refine your training skills, this video will equip you with the necessary tools and techniques to unlock your Rottweiler's full potential.
Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay updated on my future training videos. Let's embark on this rewarding training journey together and unleash the full potential of your Rottweiler!

Warm greetings from Germany. I enjoy Mr. Cabral's videos and always learn something new. Carl is a super dog and Jerome is a very fine man. Rottweilers are my best friends over 30 years. My 6. Rottweiler is lovingly at my side. Please give Carl a little less to eat. 5 kg less would do his health good.

Many many thanks for this great training video with the Rottweiler! I watched a lot of training sessions especially with Shepherds but Rottweilers are slightly different to train, or? If you could maybe train with these two breeds in some more videos and compare, this would be great. I have a quite dominant male Rottie now and think about adding a female Shepherd to our team, but I'm afraid that the Shepherd is more difficult or more sensitive to train compared to my macho Rottie? As a woman it is very important that such heavy dogs are well trained, otherwise you might get in big trouble... Anyway I learn so much more about dog training, just by watching any of your videos - many thanks for your great work!! ❤❤

I bought a 3 month old malinois from a breeder they said it was calm but I’m worried cause it only plays for like 10 minutes then wants to sleep then repeats it every 30 minutes but I know they have lots of energy but I’m just worried should I take it to the vet or

3 months, is still only 12 weeks ! Puppies are constantly developing & growing and they do that while they sleep ! If you're playing allot, letting the pup run around and giving good mental stimulation (like training and brain games) the pup will absolutely sleep allot when it's not active! And enjoy the "calm" while you can, because Mal tend to be SUPER high energy and a little crazy when they're grown! Especially the 6-12 month period! However, now is the perfect time for you to train basic obedience and set a solid foundation for when it's old enough for real training.

Hi, I'm new to the channel Mr. Cabral. I was wondering if you Into K9 Nutrition and feeding intervals. There's so much information out there, but none of it is rebuked, Or discounted, heavily. I'm searching through breeds as my family is going to acquire a dog, In about a month. I've settled And focused on breeds that will suit our lifestyle. I'm concerned about the nutrition for dogs as I am Not current John dogg nutrition, and there's a world of people, Giving advice. I'd love to see a post about the theory of K9 nutrition, and How to keep a dog happy and healthy. I love your channel, I want to be a good dog owner, And more importantly, accountable to my dog, as his Guardian and caretaker.

When i was 12 my dad got a rotweiler pup. My step bro was 5-6 ish my sister 1 or 2 😅😅😅 Taz was his name and i thought it was the best rotweiler name easily he is Taz. He grew fast always sleeping as tiny pup i wanted to just poke and prod him all day getting him hyped. My dad and step mum never walked him. Once in a blues moon. Handful of time's 😮 Well i walked my mums doberman when i was 7-8 it only went bad one time. Im a bigger boy now ill be fine. Come taz man. He was 16mnth mayb 2yrs at this time he was a big dog but mid ground for the breed very well portioned. Huge dog next to my skinny 12yr old frame. But i was winning taz was uncontrol so i take him to quiet corner of the field and play fetch with him which he learned so fast loved it. I thought im his master now 😊 Then for some reason one day whilst me and taz played in the corner a older man 50s+ on a bicycle decided to ride over to us and between me and taz that was it. Taz head swung around paws already thundering that old guy pedalled for his life. I chased cut him off and got him on leash whew. That was bad. BAD DOG... HOME!!!!.. Taz didnt want to go home he knew he messed up and i really think wanted to show me next time better i promise. PLLLLLLease. As taz grabbed my ankle and started to pull me towards the feild again. But now i wish i could teleport home right now. So i started pulling home. With my ankle dog. He pulled i pulled. He switched ankle i heaved my addidas poppers popped all the way up both legs my skinny legs frailing the dog using like 35% of his powers. Its really not nice but hes tryiny to be gentle atleast. Gentle but forceful it was the most intense game of tug a war i ever had 100m to our house. I never walked him again after that dad refused so taz lost his walks was yard dog only. He passed of old age dad got two new dogs from ireland with their tails docked legally. His male turned out to be a freake of nature hitting 70kg at peak an absolute giant of a rotweiler. But full papers on him. He was just giant. He could stand up on the kitchen sink arms straight and put his nose to the kitchen window glass to look around outside. I placed my size 8 dress shoe next to his back paw and it was the same size. Like a great dane but rotweiler. But then my dads Irish female was insanly small. She was probably not much bigger then a staffy. I bet zues had much fun 😢 They had 3 litters together but none of the pups got close to their dads size. People saw the dad and offered upto 3x more money than the pups were. They were blown away by his size but saw the tiny mother too. Some people came back for more pups too. Family member wants one. Zues passed too old age is hard on big dogs not excercised enough or too much. Built but not worn down. Zues had his collar tightened up twice over the last 6mnths he yelped when just trying to get up. And put to sleep. After many more yelps trying to move he was still 60kg on the slate the vets also blown away by his size his paw not fit the plaster cast they have so its just his pad pressed. I was older when they had those two i hardly saw them and when i did they made me nervous. Zues was the nice one more relaxed trusted but dont F around find out. Where as the female idk i never trusted her one day i walked into my dads house like the son who hasnt visited in two years does HEY.... I waltzed into the lounge and saw the kids my bro and sis two huge rotweilers heads up and granny step granny only no parents. I turned to make my escape and heard a dog jump up brisk walk down the hall and out i got the door open and heard skating turned to see the female charging me but as soon as i turned she decided pull out but just came skidding into me like a lump bounced off me and away i just slipped through the door and double slammed it. Damn. Dad be like yeah shes daft like that always does it. 😮
