I love it! Bring it out to autocross sometime to get comfortable handling it near the limit, there's a few S2000s usually out and some very good drivers who are happy to help folks learn!

Made a huge difference bro! 5:12 I almost spit out my lunch bro lmao 8:00 I've heard it put that the AP1 is the better S2000 but the AP2 is the better car 9:30 yeah, having a low mileage example of any car will always make you feel somewhat guilty about driving. Having something with a few miles is great, cause you don't have to worry about the occasional ding and scratch! Glad you became part of the club brother (damn shame it's an AP2 tho). Can't wait to get all of us out to do a run or 2.

Cheers on your AP2 S2K. I got my 2002, AP1 with 60,000 mi 12 years ago. Paid $11,000. Still feel it is the finest pure sportscar ever built. Even a non-mechanic like myself can change all the fluids, filters and even the plugs. I've kept it 100% stock and never felt it really lacked anything. Given the ultra reliability, and very unique driving experience, I would expect clean, low millage cars to continue to rise. Get that girl into the mountains and let me know how she feels at V-tech!!!

I'll just keep my 03 s2k that I've owned since new, pretty sure the market will play in my favor, but since I've had it for 21 years don't think I'm selling or modding it any time soon😂. I like the color combo

Wow that's awesome bro. Your a true S2000 owner. 👍 2003 is probably that best year to own it. AP1 last year and honda fixed those small issues with the motor. I have a 2005 with 24K miles on it bought it in 2019 I'm 4th owner and probably that last but we see. Hopefully by 2030 the prices will sky rocket on these beautiful cars.

Ap1= 99-03 Ap2= 04-09 04-05 no driveby wire 06-09 had traction control/driveby wire. Hopefully this helps Congrats on your S2000.

Also the Rev limit is reduced to reduce risk of oil pump failure on AP2

10:05 Look up what S2Ks are listing for in Florida…marketplace is chalk full of 150,xxx plus mile ones for well over 20k.

Normalise your audio, man. The music is EXTREMELY loud and your voice is pretty quiet. Oof, then you get in the car and the volume jumps big time..

Nice video. I have an extremely well maintained 10/10 tags 2001 AP1 that is worth much more now than what I paid for it 15 years ago. Sort of getting money just to drive it if one thinks about it, minus gas and maintenance of course. More importantly, your S2K will give you more smiles per miles than pretty much any other car out there, without all the headaches. Happy motoring!
