Didn’t expect the final one today. I thought it was going to be next week. Have been waiting for this! All those characters at the end are from later on in the series, we’re not supposed to know them. (Although you must know the red haired one if you’re well into Season 2 now.) This was just the prologue. The real Vinland Saga begins now. Keep up the good work!

Its just a prologue. Real story starts now. Its unbelievable how brutal of a murderer like askeladd in his last moments acted so selflessly. Askeladd Being someone who hated vikings, also is one of them. Yet he did not lose all of himself in all these years. He believed in artorious, when he found it in canute, he followed it and canute. He loved his country and in the end died protecting him. Most importantly in his last moments he did not allow thorfinn to come with him. Floki, the man responsible for thors' death wad right there, askeladd could have told thorfinn about floki but he genuinely wanted to let thorfinn to move on from this place of revenge and hatred. Prologue arc is master piece in itself but real story is just beginning. Excited foe youe reactions for next season.
