With that ending y'all got to remember that the manga has been out and ongoing for a very long time. The ending scene was a tease to future characters. Hell of a prologue isn't it?

Vinland Saga to me, is one of the best stories about the brutality that goes into the struggle for power and the violence it breeds. How little people are trampled by this struggle. As far as anime goes, it's such a mature story. Season 2 is by far the most unorthodox season of anime you will ever watch when you compare it to EVERY anime you've reacted to so far.

For me, Vinland Saga is one of the best animes, as good as Attack on Titan! The ending of season 1 was really great. But the season 2 ending went even further than that! Please look forward to.
