@@PieInTheSky9 So, there are these goblins by lumbridge (where you start the game) and they sometimes drop this armor called goblin mail. The thing is, its impossible to put on the damn armor. So, alot of the new players always tried to equip the armor and got confused as to why it wouldn't equip. It was pretty funny trying to equip it when I was younger and I just couldn't seem to figure out what was wrong with it.

Why is everyone saying this, I feel like leagues is a fine first step. Boosted droprates, boosted exp, "task system" which gives you good objectives to complete so you're not just blindly thrown into the world of RS with 0 knowledge of what to do.

Rich and Asmon even said that this was the most free-form interview they've ever done with developers. Usually they can't bring up a myriad of topics cause it's against NDAs or some other stuff the company isn't willing to discuss. I play runescape and understand the dev team from their streams, and I'm glad that they were being transparent with Asmon as much as they've been (for the most part) transparent with the osrs community. I get that, maybe you might not play and that it doesn't mean much to you, but to me it means a bit more cause I do play the game. I don't expect asmon to maybe play this as much as I do or at all, nor do I expect him to ever stream it cause, as he said, he'd just be harassed in game by hundreds of people. But, it still means something to me and a lot of the OSRS community (at least on reddit) appreciated Asmon's stream and the interview.

I'm pretty new to OSRS but I feel at home with the dev teams being pretty transparent and cooperative with their playerbase. I am sure that Asmons status as the biggest streamer of WoW is what part of why the devs were so excited. They want to spread their love for the game with as many people as possible.
