Aww a puppy, are you against the idea of a dog in general or just the timing of the dog with an imminent move to kansas? Dogs in my opinion add unconditional love to the family. Some people prefer cats over dogs. I don't understand why? Cats are alloof,independent &they generally aren't as affectionate as a lab. We has a boxe4/lab mux for 13 yrs. We qaited a tr to get our current dog a shih tsu pomeranian mix. I believe it identifies as a xat. Very aloof, only affectionate when she is in the mood. I hope you ger a puppy soon . I cannot believe that landon had a double muscle biopsy for research. I was born with Cerebral Palsy. My orthopedic surgeon on a colleahue's recommendation to a kinesiology lab. They wanted to stick multiple iv needles with wirws attached. I then was supposed to walk between 2 electric eyeaat the end of the stage. The other surgeon promised no needles. My mom said find another way to do rest no needles. They reluctantly agreed to tape sensors to my legs. They got great results. I had my hip flexors and hamstrings lengthened weeks later. The one thing that i learned drs, nurses pts and ots i have had throughout my life don't realize how much spasticity & my disability impacts my life. I had a spine surgeon try to get me to push down like i am pushing down on a gas pedal. I said that i couldn't. In response she proceed to demonstrate with her other foot. I said dr i understand what you want me to do. I said that i physically wasn't able to do it. She was still incredulous & said, sirvi am going to have to give a 0 on this section of my report. Whatever you need to so doc. Understand most drs only get a chapter or 2 regarding Cerebral Palsy in med school & almost none have any clinical experience treating adults with cp.
