Need to get that "fun" cardio in. I'd suggest the Rocky Sv2 for boots though. I don't think ive ever really had a time where they've got wet inside. Maybe damp in heavy snow and a little wet when standing in the narrows at Zion

yes, the "fun" cardio is the best kind. Appreciate the suggestion on the boots, i'll be sure to check them out.

You'd have a lot less of a shitty time if you guys left some stuff back at the truck. Do you really need an axe and a machete? You guys are loaded up for war when you're just going for a walk.

I'm sure there are things we could have left behind. The intention was to camp overnight so we brought these tools for collecting fire wood, but didn't make it to the top because of the deep snow.

@@StubbornMuleFitness You can make a fire with just a knife. Leave no trace practices says no fires in the backcountry though. You'll spook the elk too
