though I had some problem with sea water It also kzbin.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. @LuckyGin3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. ❤️ The only downside I’ve found so far with the makro gold kruzer is that you can’t use it in the saltwater. As soon as it touches the actual water it overloads. Works great in freshwater though, and it did fine on the wet sand.
@mikekeller41313 жыл бұрын
@@LuckyGin that's good to know. I will mainly be using it along some rivers and dried up creeks looking for small gold nuggets here in Washington state. I bought the simplex for the beach and seems to work good but it loves rusty nails. Thanks for the reply Gin.
@NYGladiator3 жыл бұрын
Looks like you had fun. Just a suggestion, but if you find a sand scoop half that size you will be able to dig without having to lower your detector to the sand. Also, if you ever detect in the shallow water you won’t be able to put the detector down, so getting used to dig holding both the scoop and detector will make life easier. Good hunting!
@LuckyGin3 жыл бұрын
Hi Brian, thanks for stopping by my channel. You know, I looked long and hard at those sand scoops where the handle is half the length but I didn’t see anybody else on KZbin using them. I thought maybe everybody used the tall ones for the leverage, and there was something about the smaller ones they don’t like. Do you use the smaller version and have good luck with it?

@@LuckyGin I would suggest finding a retail store if possible that sells scoops so you can see what style feels right for you. A smaller basket is what you might want.

@LuckyGin2 жыл бұрын
Hi Adrian, metal detecting can definitely be good exercise because you do lots of walking. I'm often sore after a long day of detecting. The type of detector kind of depends on where you will be primarily using it. Some are great for the beach, some great for relics and coins in parks, ect, and others good for finding gold nuggets.
@adriansalas23672 жыл бұрын
@@LuckyGin i live in north georgia and there are alot of streams and lakes. most likely those types :)

@@adriansalas2367 - Ok, so the Fisher F75 might be a good choice. The coil is waterproof, though not the control box…so you can’t wade out too deep; 4 ft or depending on your height. It’s also a great coin and relic hunter. There are many great detectors/brands, but I’ve only used a few and can only recommend one I’ve used. The most important thing for you will be that the coil is waterproof. 🙂🍀
