The sight bring back some memories from Bombay now Mumbai, A similar sight awaits anybody leaving Victoria Terminus now Chathrapathy Sivaji Terminus. The subarben line like this raise up and cross over to fort area and join the main line after some time.

As I read the topic I became hyper crazy 😍, I got scolding because of my reaction, Iam so happy, dream come true moment after such a long wait, but at the same time sad that diesel won't pull it, wdp4d is a excellent diesel locomotives which deserves even longer mainline service life

@@kgiplmdrf9488 EMD is working full in KR and Bangalore Hubbali Miraj line i.e not fully E line. However, in TN all lines are electrified except Virudhunagar Tenkasi and few other supplementary lines. ED emptied all D locos to GOC. EMD will be transferred to NE India .

It might be sad but we should consider air pollution into effect as well.. I agree that emd is an excellent loco.. but it produces more air pollution than electric loco

This electric loco is not the first one to enter the Hosur-Salem line. WAG locos go towards the Maranayakanahalli station which has a huge goods terminal for the past one year at least.

This ramp should have been like the one just north of VT ...Chatrapati Shivaji now ...for the harbour line. It is on the left and doesn't impact the traffic of the Central Railways network. In this case the Bangalore-KR Puram line ...
