Dimash was born in Kazakhstan in 1994. He began studying music at the age of 5, the age at which he was diagnosed with "perfect pitch". Her parents are famous singers in Kazakhstan. He studied piano and singing. He later graduated in classical and contemporary music. He has a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English. She sings in 14 languages. He has received countless awards and honors at home and abroad. After competing in "I am a singer" in China 2017, he became famous all over the world. He was in Russia. Dimash is from Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is Eurasian. 6'3" tall. Very athletic. Began his classical/operatic vocal and instrumental training at age 5. Continued his training through age 25 and still put in hours a day in personal music training. He is considered the greatest singer in the world, 7+ octave range. He has two degrees with his Masters, in Music Composition. He is working on his Doctoral Studies. He came from a musical family. He is fluent in Kazak and Russian, and getting better in Americanized English and Mandarin. He had a one night performance in NY December of 2019 and people flew in from 72 countries to be at that concert.

You really painted a vivid picture of 'Aunt Karen'...it had me cracking up! This was at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus. It's a music festival/competition. He had previously won the Grand Prize. He now participates as a judge and guest artist. Dimash sings in all genres (pop, rap, classical, opera, crossover, folk, you name it), in 13 languages, and plays multiple instruments. He has roughly 7 octaves, but to be honest, none of us really know how many. To him, they're just a tool to use. He's highly educated, nationally decorated, and award-winning. Despite all this, he's incredibly humble and grounded. He's kind, respectful, appreciative, charitable, and funny. His fans, whom he genuinely loves, travel from all over the world to see him perform.

When I first heard Dimash 5 years ago, I couldn't believe my ears either. I was tempted to look behind my laptop like a little kid to see if there was another singer hiding there.🤣 From that day on, not a day goes by that I don't hear Dimash. This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight. The best comment from a Dear under this video: „If you are having a bad day, remember, someone had to sing after him.“ 🤣 That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. Despite Dimash's planned brief presence, his name was intended to be symbolic and understandable to the public. Dimash was given the Chinese name Dimashi and the 3 syllables were assigned in Chinese characters: ⭐Di - achievement ⭐Ma - precious stone ⭐Shi - dream, wish. This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents and for a long time he kept his parents as his aunt and uncle. You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

And since then he has not failed to come and present songs there. This song "SoS" is a cover (1978), but the ones he presented in 2021 were created for him and with him. Dimash has his own lane! He starts off out of nearly EVERYONE's lane and then draws you in like no other singer in any other genre at any other time. My lane was something entirely different but since discovering Dimash five years ago all the most important music of my music obsessed life has become far less important to me. In fact, these days it's pretty much all Dimash, all the time. I suspect you might want to check out, "Be With Me." The guy raps with the best of them, believe it or not! From opera to rap, Dimash actively performs every note of every song. He does it all.

Hi Zack, sorry you’re just getting to One song of Dimash K. Vast library of live videos. On his channel he has over 120 of them. Dimash was made for live performances. On this on e there is a place where the translat is why di die, he holds the note out with heavy quick vibrato but doesn’t just stop the note in mid air he puts a “Kane’s” on the end of it. It’s a French song which I had no clue they do that. Also the vocalcoaches talk not only about his vibrat, but his trebelo used in I think wind instruments. This was 2018… Dimash coming back to perform after winning the. Year before. Wikipedia has his career starting at age two after his performing and education starting at age five with perfect pitch. By this time he’s in his doctorate with 2 years experience and education. I don’t know if you’re brave enough to react to the same song, SOS on his channel from his digital concert in 2021 that the difficulty and finese comparible to Michael Jackson and Freddy Mercury and queen. Thru the years I’ve heard Dimash doing things perfectly with his voice that no one has done , done or will be done. Dimash is a maestro of voice and technique.

I'm a year late for this reaction, but here: Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, are like no other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "I Am Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year (2023). Everyone talks about the singer (not diminishing his brilliance by the way) but the vehicle he drove deserves a lot of credit and it might be something of a surprise to learn that it was lifted from the 1976 French/Canadian Cyber Punk rock Opera, Starmania. The part is written for a male (you can find the original performer on YT) to sing, but honestly it was written 45 years in advance of the person born to sing it.
