There's an actual movie sequel! It's called Blood Machines and it's around 50 minutes of pure audiovisual awesomeness, split in a 3-chapter story.

That was so cool. Patreon producers just giving out hidden gems that I failed to find. This is satisfying.

So interesting, Zel! Made me miss my laser tag Friday nights in the late 90s. This song would have been perfect playing while I bounced around the arena.

Another band that's like Carpenter Brut (and often they collaborate on shit) is Perturbator. As far as I can tell that band has no bad songs.

At first I was expecting something like Ghost.. tongue in cheek 80s metal vibe.. then it went in a completely different direction. I feel like I just watched a trailer for a film I really want to see..only now realizing it doesn't exist. 🥺 Its great and a let down simultaneously because I wanted the movie lol

As far as I know, you can watch the movie"Blood Machines" only on Shudder. I watched a video by the "Corridor Crew" who mentioned the amazing visual effects. What I could see in the short clips of "Blood Machines" looks very trippy and million of colours. But that's not always a bad thing. 😎

This was cool. Reminds me a little bit of what MUSE did on their SIMULATION THEORY album (2018) and videos from it (1980's pop culture, synth-pop, Electronic-rock influences) they also ventured into a bit of Dubstep style on some tracks from their THE 2ND LAW album (2012). Another Aussie band with some kinda trippy/synthy elements (also some 'drum and bass') that comes to mind is PENDULUM's singles on their IMMERSION album (2010) like WATERCOLOUR, WITCHCRAFT, etc. BLINDING LIGHTS by THE WEEKND draws a bit on this kinda 80's-esque synth feel too.
