These days he sells out stadiums and arenas worldwide with his spectacular four-hour concerts in which he mixes every known genre of music into fabulous creative musical masterpieces. This is from 2017 'I Am Singer' show in China. All contestants were well known Chinese singers except Dimash. He was brought in as a 'wild card' contestant. He is from Kazakhstan and yes this is a French song. This was the 1st performance of the show and brought him world wide fame and fans (called 'Dears'). His name is pronounced 'De Mosh' (as in mosh pit). Dimash sings in over 14 languages, he has a 7+ octave range and sings in multiple genres. He has improved since this performance. He is now 30 yrs old. He has a huge catalog, he has super high movie quality music videos, he has multiple duets and a trio performance. You will be shocked and amazed at every performance and much will bring goosebumps and tears (even if you listen over and over again.) He is highly trained. He has been performing, training, studying music and voice since he was 3 yrs. old. He is the best singer/vocalist on the planet. He was a wild card contestant from Kazakhstan, the only non-Chinese is the competition. All competitors are professionals. He was only 22 at the time, the youngest in the competition, and not expected to stay long, but ended up in 2nd place. Lots more to discover from him. He's only gotten better since then. He learned quickly and as he grew older, he learned to play instruments as well, like the piano and the dombra. As the years passed, he sang very well and became well known and loved in his country. It's completely normal to get chills while listening to him 😁😁😁👍 This is from seven years ago. It's a Chinese competition called I Am Singer. U can only enter it by an invitation. Just well known singers are invited. Dimash was invited as a black card. Nobody heard about him and he was not expected to last more than one round (the competition has around 14 rounds, I think 🤔). He ended up second, because he was not Chinese. The rules did not allow a foreigner to win at that time. Next u can try Stranger or Olimpico (Arnau version with Igor Krutoy)

Dimash is my favorite singer, not only because he has the most beautiful voice and best singing techniques in multiple genres that I have ever heard, but because he is a great storyteller and he moves my heart and soul like nobody else in the world does.

I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 Dimash is a 30-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway, but it does happen sometimes😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 15 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. At his concerts he tells the audience that he has given concerts in many countries and repeatedly emphasizes that he loves everyone in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, that you've seen the best and that it's impossible for it to get any better, you realize you're so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He is constantly his biggest competitior to get better and better. He is a real perfectionist. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is and likes to try new things. You can't compare him to any other singer on this planet. He has so many different music genres and styles. He loves Freddie Mercury, but also Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Luciano Pavarotti and Eminem and you can also hear that one or the other has an influence on some of his songs. Every time you watch a new video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing and always a little different. No, I don’t think so😄. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. The other competitiors might not have taken Dimash seriously at first because of his age and that they didn’t know him but that quickly changed after the performance of SOS, as you can see. Yes, it is a French song, a 4,5 octave French song, and this was LIVE TV, Chinese National TV show "Voice", where the best of the best of most famous musicians performe, broadcasted to 1Bn audience... He was "the wild card" foreign singer (He's Kazakh), and this was the first performance of the first episode... No stress LOL

This was from a 2017 episode of "I Am Singer", a talent show in China, which is kind of like China's equivalent of "The Voice" over there. The main difference is that the only people who can be on the show have to be professional singers. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and didn't have a contract in China, but they were so impressed with him they wanted him to perform. They scrambled and got him a contract right before the show started. On this show, whether or not you make it through the round depends on audience vote. He not only made it through the first round after this performance, he picked up over 600M followers on Instagram overnight. He went to bed and woke up the next morning with a body guard and transportation from the hotel. LOL I'm sad to report he only took 2nd on the show. It would turn out that Chinese rules stipulated that only a Chinese national could win. But he worked out OK for him. He has 2.5M followers on KZbin. How you proceed from here depends on how you want to experience him. You can go through all of the "I Am Singer" episodes, and they are all phenomenal, but they tend to have issues with copyright strikes. It really doesn't matter which way you go, every performance of his is mind blowing. As soon as you think you know what Dimash will do, he surprises you. The only thing I would recommend is to stay away from the "World's Best" episodes. They are cut way short and ended up being kind of a mess as he bowed out after finding out he would be competing against kids. BTW, one name you'll start to run into with Dimash is Igor Krutoy. He's a Russian composer who worked with Lara Fabian and came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash after watching him perform live. You can see him in the audience at the end of "Sinful Passion". Dimash (like wash) Qudaibergen is from Kazakhstan. He is tall at 6'3". Considered the greatest singer in the world. He has an 8+ octave range. He is fluent in Kazak and Russian is good but not great at speaking English and many other languages. He began his classical vocal and instrumental training before turning age 5. He grew up in the premier music school in Kazakhstan, for young people. Now age 30, he is now Dr. Qudaibergen (Ph.D.) Dimash is brilliant. A consummate performer. and thrills tens of thousands at his concerts. This performance pale in comparison to his current abilities. He still trains classically from an out of country vocal coach. He has also studied Film Directing in the US and produces movie like videos of some of his work.
