Actually, the only problem with the whistle is that there is no command or action for the dog to obey or do that l can tell.....just blowing a whistle. Dog obviously needs some obedience and handling training. But that is doable....

@ not sure which whistle times y’all are talking about. One blast is sit/stop. Two is change direction. Three is recall back to me. The rolling tweet is dead search. She’s young but she it’s getting it down. Anyway it’s the way we hunt and it works for us.
