Make sure that you will return to Germany before 3rd lockdown,as of you know already new African varient is there ,which will show its effect from Jan 22,so be safe

Hopefully not! Germany should stop the South African flights from coming in. New York declared a state of emergency and stopped the flights coming in South Africa. I have heard Omicron variant was around since November 8th from Botswana…so it’s probably been in different countries since early November.

Whether we like it or not this pandemic is a tough reality. This is the downside of globalization since people travel from one end to other more frequently compared to 50- 60 years ago. And that is one of the major reasons why this pandemic is raging worldwide and making more strains. It will be with us(those who can survive) for a loong time.
