First time French Motorhome Adventure - Part 1 Folkstone tunnel crossing to Camping La Samaritaine

2 weeks will have to do until we retire!
We had a very ambitious plan to travel 2000 miles and 7 locations in 2 weeks. This is our first video from the trip and I really needed to chill out, go some some long walks and relax.

We’ve never had such holiday blues! The site was run by a couple from the Nertherlands. There was only one other English couple there. Nice site, plenty of walks 🚍

Just found your channel, loved you French adventures, we had our first time in France 🇫🇷 in 2022 with Vera our campervan touring around the champagne region absolutely loved it, we found overnight stops on French aires brilliant, hopefully back again to France this year Thanks for sharing Nige & Adele benivanadventures

We’ve travelled to France every year since 2007 and driven each year since 2009 but this year is different as we’re going in our motorhome so this series ideal for some tips etc.

we are in the NE and i used to drive down to the shuttle now we take a ferry from north Sheilds and miss all the awful roads i the SE Motorhomes are such a lot of fun we used to stay on camper la farm sights

Really enjoyed the video especially as we are planning our first European camper trip so lots of great tips..question; did you need permission to park on the Supermarket car park , was there a charge ? Seems ideal after getting off the crossing.

Thank you, no there was no payment. Andy researched as we had heard sone horror stories about being to close to Calais. I’ve popped the what 3 words on screen so yiu can find it. It was perfect for a late crossing and to fill up with groceries. Warning there is nowhere to get food late at night. There is a pizza shop but closes at 9pm
